Tell me a most wondrous kind of story,

filled with marvels and timeless glory.

A yarn where the voices of gods do thunder,

and pirates dare to pillage and plunder.

Where fairies can be both big and small,

and tales of their origins really, really tall.

A place where vampire love burns eternal,

and is so hot it would fry the pages of a journal.

Sneak me into the shady high-tech labs,

where  secret serums create superhuman jabs.

Thrill me with freaky monsters and idols that rage,

as their twisted and bizarre struggles leap from the page.

Enchant me with mystical verses about Time,

and the lovely musings of a blossoming vine.

Sweep me away along a fluttering romance,

so long as it's tinged with darkness and fated chance.

Dazzle me with stories short but not so sweet,

where the ride to the end leaves a hanging treat.

Make me grin devilishly with a naughty little rollick,

a romp in the sack or a teasing bit of frolic.

Charm me with beauties who flaunt enticing smirks,

while kicking the crap out of loathsome deserving jerks.

Enlighten me with the paths of both the Angel and Demon,

so that if I ever cross one I'll know I'm not dreamin'.

Lose me in the allure of beastly fangs and fur,

with full moon eyes and  growls that do stir.

So by weaving such stories, and crafting poems too,

you leave me enthralled, and I say thank you.
