"Let's do it." Seryosong nakatingin siya sakin habang nakaupo sa sofa.

We're in my office and he just barge in  looking serious all over. Ano na naman kaya ang naiisip nito? Yun na naman kaya? Ayaw niya talaga akong tantanan sa bagay niya yun. Inuubos niya talaga ang pasensya ko.

I'm so busy this past few weeks because of the upcoming opening of one subsidiary we have in the Philippines. And I need to finish all requests and projects needed for the opening para hindi ko na kailangang pumunta ng pilipinas.

"What?" I looked at him.

He stared at me.

"Let's go back to the Philippines."

Sumeryoso ang mukha ko at umigting ang panga ko. Ito na naman kami. Hindi talaga kami matapos-tapos sa kakaaway dahil sa bagay na yan.

"Are you nuts, Steven?"

"Look Naya, there's nothing wrong with it. We can come back anytime you want. Like we used to do."

Right. Ilang ulit naba kaming napunta sa pilipinas dahil lang sa negosyo niya. I'm so fucked up before when Trace cheated on me and I left him. But my whole world fucked up even more when I started to return to the Philippines. Kaya ayaw ko nang bumalik doon.

"That's the problem, Steven." I stared at him. "I will never get used to it."

"Sweetheart..."

"You can go. Umalis ka kung gusto mo." Hindi ko na siya pinansin at binalik ko na ang atensyon sa trabaho ko.

"Naya, can you just give yourself a little chance? If not, then just do it for your daughter. Siegee's 4 years old already. Minsan mas mature pa yun mag-isip kaysa sayo. Give her the chance to meet her father."

Napataas ang kilay ko sa sinabi niya.

"Are you kidding me? Bakit ngayon pa? Bakit gusto mo ngayon? Diba sinabi ko sayo noon na gustong kong ipakilala si Siegee kay Trace pero umayaw ka? Kaya bakit ngayon?"

"Things changed, Naya."

I found myself sarcastically laughing at him.

"So? I don't give a fuck about it. So shut up, will you?"

"Come on! It's been over 5 years, Naya. Alam na naman natin kung ano talaga ang nangyari. It's time to face it. Dapat noon pa to ginawa natin eh.

I unbelievably look at him.

"It won't change the fact they fooled me."

"It won't also change the fact that you're both at fault here." He retorted.

"Don't make me regret my decision, Steve."

He smirked.

"I can. If that's the only way I can drag you ass back to the Philippines."

Napairap ako.

"Asa ka."

"Try me." He challenged.

I frowned at him.

"I'll fetch Siegee and Seve. Magkita nalang tayo sa bahay."

Tumayo siya at lumabas sa opisina. Napailing nalang ako. Bakit ba ang dami niyang oras umuwi sa bahay ngayon? Iniisip ko pa lang na magkakasagutan na naman kami pagdating sa bahay sumasakit na ang ulo ko.

He's really getting into my nerves. Simula nung nalaman niya ang lahat ginugulo na niya ako lagi. Perhaps he wanted us out of his life.

Sa mata ng marami, mag-asawa kami. Everything was just a plan that turns out into a more bigger disaster.
