#IYAALM04: Drawing a Line? Only to be Crossed

✿ ♥ ✿

If you are anything like me
You draw a line to keep yourself safe,
Trust me, darling, someday,
One person will cross it,
And you'll be glad that they did it.

"Enjoy your long weekend guys!" I hid a smile and thought about how I could spend my simple and peaceful weekend.

I was organizing my things when I received a text from... no other than the annoying, persistent, happy-go-lucky Killian. This guy have been consistently annoying me for over eight months.

Madalas luto n'ya, pero minsan take out. He seriously needed to find other things to spend his time with.

I'm outside! See you.

Look?

I saw his car parked just near where I went out and I knocked on his window before he opened the car, just to guide me on the passenger seat.

"This weekend is a really good time, you know... to travel?" He started the moment he went back to the driver's seat. He started the engine and I chuckled a little at him.

"You know... do you really have work?"

"Seriously, Z? Of course! I just have my own schedule, and I'm the boss." Tatawa tawa nitong pagmamalaki. E 'di s'ya na. I pouted because I'm a little envious of his easy way of life. But whatever, as long as I'm breathing, I'll manage.

"I searched for a really really good beach earlier and saw—" Pinanlakihan ko kaagad s'ya ng mga mata dahil sa narinig. He didn't mind me and continued what he was saying while he's driving but I cut him off.

"I'm not available this weekend."

"What the hell, Z?" I laughed because of his exaggerated reaction. We were lucky because it's traffic that's why we didn't get into any accident when he abruptly stopped the car just to face me. Iiling iling ko s'yang tiningnan. Tingnan mo 'to s'ya pa galit.

"I have plans." I shrugged nonchalantly.

"And what plan is that?" His brows furrowed and he's almost pouting. Ang cute. Parang tuta na hindi binigyan ng pagkain. Nag-papaawa. Spoiled talaga 'to.

"Staying at home. Reading some books. Or watching some movies." I smiled to myself when I imagined myself just doing lazy stuffs all day. Finally, some rest and peace of mind. Makakapagpahinga at makakapagcharge na ulit ng energy. This is my kind of weekend.
