November soon ended. Only having a few bumps after the argument. One being if Harry was going to stay at Style's School for the Deaf and Blind. But after a lot of persuading, it had been agreed that Harry would finish the academic year at that school, seeing as he is already half way through the courses and is due to start his exams in a little over six months. The had decided that it was pretty pointless starting over again, plus that would have meant that he would have had to start a new school being in year ten instead of year eleven.

He was glad that he didn't have to change. And Louis was glad too.

It was now December and the days were defiantly becoming colder. The nights were drawing in earlier, the sky becoming dark at only five o'clock. The town of Holmes Chapel was also under the threat of a snow storm. Harry was excited for that. To feel the snow crunch under his boots was one of the best feelings. Louis just didn't like the way the snow would turn to slush and create a slippery surface afterwords.

With half term slowly approaching, only three days away, the school was beginning to bring in the Christmas decorations to celebrate the occasion. There was a green tree situated in the front office. Hanging on that tree were ornaments from dark blue balls to an angle dressed in a long white dress on the top. Sparkling silver tinsel was wrapped around the branches from the tip, to the bottom. Small signs saying things such as 'Merry Christmas' and 'Happy New Year' were hanging above doors and above whiteboards. Some class rooms even had small ornaments that sang a Christmas song if you were to press a small button. All of the festive decorations were just getting all the students ready for the two week break.

Harry and Louis walked through the school gates together, hand in hand. Louis had stayed at his home last night, saying to Harry that he "couldn't live in your clothes forever." Harry had no idea how the night had went. He didn't know if Matt was there, or, even if Louis had spoken to his mother. However, when Louis did arrive, Harry saw Joe lean over the hand break to give a kiss to Louis check. So judging on that and the way Louis smiled after that, everything looked smooth.

"So how did it go last night?" Harry questioned.

"It was.. Okay. We spoke, about dad, and how she was happy with Matt. I guess I over reacted a little, I just didn't understand why she would need anyone after she had the love with dad, but yeah, Matt's cool I suppose." Harry just nodded swinging their arms a little.

"That's good then."

Louis hummed, "she's lonely and needs someone to be there for her, I'm never home anymore, so yeah, I'll give him a chance, but you have to promise me something."

"Yeah? And what's this promise that I have to make?" Harry pulled the door to the Science department open, leading Louis inside first.

"If he hurts her, in any way, you have to guid me to his ass so I can kick it real hard."

"Sure, Lou." Harry laughed.

Just like any other lunch time, Harry would meet Louis after his forth period, and together they would walk up to the Art Studios. While Harry drew, Louis would bring up random conversations, such as "have you ever been bitten by a donkey?" He would then go on about how a donkey had bitten him when he, his mother and his father had gone to a petting zoo on his fifth birthday.

This lunch time was nothing special, Harry had finished his drawing of the week, which had been of Louis, and Louis had been keeping the conversations alive. The only difference was that Louis had grapes in his lunch instead of the usual apple. The grapes had actually triggered another one of Louis' stories. Which happened to be stopped in the middle due to the bell ringing for final lesson.

Harry had walked Louis to the Music block, kissing him sweetly before rushing of to his own English lesson, trying not to be late for a second time this week.

It was around five pm when the snow first started to fall. Anne was the first to see it.

Everyone was sat around the fire, Louis and Harry cuddling on one sofa, while Anne and Mark were on the other. The reds, oranges and yellows from the fire lit up the fairly large room. The TV was switched off and the noise of real voices were heard.

The pieces of snow were seen when Anne went to collect drinks for the four of them. She stood by the sink, turning the tap and allowing the cold water to run down into the kettle that she had placed underneath. The was when she looked up. Snowflakes, all different sizes, all different shapes, landing on the ground with no noise at all.
She couldn't help the small squeal that escaped past her lips. She took no time turning the running tap off and running into the living room. She squealed once again as she held the door frame with both hands.

Harry and her husband looked up, Harry having to peer over the sofa to see what was happening.

"It's snowing!"

Harry looked down at Louis to see him smiling.

"Well, come on then, let's go outside." Mark jumped up from his seat and jogged lightly over to his wife, holding her waist, he placed a kiss to her cheek. "Go grab the camera." He whispered.

"I like your thinking." She laughed, going to fetch the camera from the hallway cupboard.

Once everyone was wrapped up warm, all dressed in long coats, with matching hats, gloves and scarfs, they were set to go outside. Harry leaded, holding Louis' hand to pull him along, and the two married couple just behind.

The front garden was large and the snow was already at least three inches deep. Nothing was visible, all covered with a blanket of the soft stuff. Harry grinned, leaning down, and with his free hand, he picked up a handful of snow, squeezing it into a make-do-ball shape. Swinging his hand up and then pushing it forward, he let the ball fly in the air. Mark turned around to face his son at just the right time. And, almost as if it was playing in slow motion, he saw the ball coming and hitting him square in the face.

He closed his eyes feeling the burn of the ice freeze against his skin. His ears filled with the laughter of not only Harry, but Louis and Anne too. He took a look over at his son and smiled seeing how Harry had his arms wrapped around Louis' waist from behind, his face pressed in Louis' neck. He watched as Louis crossed his arms and held to Harry's . He looked over Louis' face, noticing how he wasn't wearing his glasses but at the moment his eyes were closed with a sign of comfort.

Louis was smiling, laughing as Harry pressed many, many kisses to the skin beneath his jaw. He squeezed his hands a little tighter around Harry's wrists as Harry began to nibble gently at random places.

Anne snapped multiple pictures on the camera, capturing every moment that was possible. She managed to capture a few when Louis spun around in Harry's arms and griped his face, she captured how Louis used his thumbs to rub across Harry's face to find his lips. And she snapped another picture when Louis leant forward kissing her son. She smiled, pulling the camera away from her eye, deciding that now was a good time to give the boys a little privacy.

She looked over to her left where her husband was standing. She nudged her shoulder against his and smiled when he turned to face her. He gave the same response before he leaned down and gave her a peck to the lips.

"Louis makes him so happy." Anne whispered, taking a glance over at the boys who were rubbing their noses together in a loving way, something they seem to do often.

"Just like you do to me." Mark replied, he wrapped his arms around her small waist, pulling her as close as he could pull her, before looking over to where her eyes were trailing.

Maybe a small snow storm wouldn't be so bad after all.
