You grew up right by his side. You both were quite inseparable. Both of you were quite shy but with each other you both were far from it. You supported him in basically everything that he did. You went with him to Seoul (Though you couldn't stay long) and once he became a trainee at BigHit, you were very happy for him.
He would rarely visit though, he was very busy. You were starting to miss your best friend. You were able to go to his first concert and you made sure he heard you. Sadly you weren't able to see him after though.
This went on and soon it was like he forgot about you as he grew. You both lost contact in 2014. From there you knew he was gone but you made sure to continue to support him. You bought albums and posters.
You moved to America to get your mind off of him in 2016 but that was when BTS blew up internationally. You felt bittersweet towards everything. You were so happy he made it but very upset that he left you alone. You decided to go to a concert and made sure to get front row.
That night at the concert was amazing. You were so proud of him. As you were front row you looked down at your phone getting a text from one of your work friends asking if you could watch his kids while he went out of town on a business trip that next day. You were about to respond when there were screams around you. You look up to see Jungkook squatting right in front of you,staring deeply in his eyes. You felt your heart race as you both lock eye contact.
"I miss you" He mouths and you tear up.
"I miss you too." You say and he gets up and goes back to singing.
After the concert you couldn't help but cry. He did recognize you but something in you wished he didn't. Now you felt the pain you did back when you couldn't see him right after the concert.
As you were leaving, you feel a hand grab yours and you jump and look over to see someone in a hoodie. You retract your hand when you hear the person quietly say your name. Tears roll down your cheeks as Jungkook pulls you into a tight hug. He grew a lot and was now taller than you. You hug him back and cry into his chest.
"I'll make this right, I promise." He whispers and pulls away and wipes your tears.
Ever since then you and Jungkook got back into touch. It was hard to see each other physically but he made sure to text you or call or face time you. You missed him and he missed you. He would apologize occasionally because he never meant to lose touch with you. He never forgot about you. He wanted to make sure that he could make it right.
