You've been avoiding Taehyung at all costs. Just hearing his name will cause your chest to tighten. After about two weeks, you decided to head to the cafe. You try to avoid it but they have your favorite treat there.
You walk in and try to ignore the memories of Taehyung coming back to your mind. You successfully buy your snack and head to the campus just to walk around. As you walk around you smile feeling your mind relax. As you make your round by the liberal arts. You hear the sound of someone singing and you recognized that voice. Not being able to help yourself you step in as he sang.
You quietly close the door behind you and he looks over at you and you look down. You hear him say your name and you look up.
"Why have you been avoiding me? I thought we grown close together." He says and you can't help but scoff.
"Taehyung the close you thought was not the close I thought. You made me like you and-and you had a girlfriend the entire time! I felt idiotic for even falling for you!" You say and he stays quiet, letting you speak.
"You were just so charming...do you know see what people put on your reviews? You're an amazing tutor but you're a heartbreaker. I like you and the only way for me to not feel like that anymore is to distance myself." You finish and he gesture for you to sit but you shake your head no.
"(Y/N/N)-"
"(Y/N)" You correct and he hums.
"Look I didn't mean to break your heart. I just thought we were just becoming close friends. I even at some point liked you." He says and you sit down and he sits a chair away from you to give you space.
"You allow me to be myself around you and feel free instead of the stigma of being just smart. That day that you saw me I ended up breaking up with my girlfriend. I found out she was cheating on me. When I noticed you've been avoiding me I felt alone because you're the one I always go to. I was shocked when you told me your feelings towards me. I never noticed nor did I think you'd like me." Taehyung explains and you nod and look at your lap.
"I'm sorry." You say and stand up and he does the same.
"How about we just give it a try?" He asks and you nod shyly.
"Okay." You say and saw him leaning in but you panic and hug him and he chuckles and hugs you back tightly.
