I clutch my books. I wish Adrien weren't a bitch so that he could ask me. I sniffle as I open my locker.
A note falls out that's surrounded by rose petals.
' Meet me at the garden's gazebo at 7:30 .'
Creepy but romantic?? Definitely Adrien.
I slam my locker and crumple up the letter.
After school
"Tikki, Should I go?" I stare at the paper as i'm filled with confusion and curiosity.
"Maybe he has an explanation-"
Tikki quickly dove into her hiding spot as there was a knock on my latch door.
"Come in."
Please just be Charlotte pleaaaase just be Charlotte-
"Marinette!!" Charlotte explains clapping her hands.
I sigh out of relief and hold her tightly.
I was distracted by her that I didn't even realize the blonde behind her.
"You." Marinette exhales heavily trying not to cry.
"You couldn't wait until later?" I grunt with anger.
"What do you mean?" He gives a genuine look of curiosity.
"The note? That you left in my locker??"
His face stayed blank.
"I didn't leave a note in your locker." He looks at the note in my hands and so do I.
"Marinette!! Adrien!! Let's play dollies!" She jumps up and down as my chest gets hot.
"Okay." I respond with a dull expression.
"You be the Marinette doll," She hands it to me.
"- and you'll be the Chat Noir one!" She smiles brightly as I sigh.
"Hi Marinette." Adrien makes the Chat doll talk.
"Hi." I make mine respond back.
"Make them kiss!!" Charlotte encouraged bouncing up and down.
"I would make them kiss if Chat were a good person." Marinette made the doll walk away.
"Well maybe Chat had no control over what happened." Adrien huffed as we both looked each other dead in the eyes.
"Guys!! Charlotte's mom arrived early so you can send her down!" Sabine yelled up the hatch.
"Bye mom and dad I love you!" She kissed my cheek and Adrien's as well.
"Mom and dad?" I murmured at an awe.
"Listen Marinette can we please talk?" Adrien begged.
"Listen if this is an apology-"
"This morning I broke up with her. I told my father I want nothing to do with her, he was pissed but it was worth it."
Before I can say anything he continues.
"I love you, Marinette. I really do. I was forced to be with her, you're who I want." He holds my hands.
"I have one question though." He stares into my eyes.
I nod.
"How did you find out that i'm Chat Noir, Marinette?"
"Uhhh.. I just pieced things together.."
