Fane's POV

Pause.

Suddenly, ink spread around the piece of paper, and when it finally formed, it looked like a small map.

There was also a moving dot, labeled "Caroline"

My wolf growled. Mate.

I looked at the moving dot and the map.

"Does anyone recognize this place?" I asked.

Everyone shook their heads.

I checked the dot again. After a few seconds, the map suddenly changed.

"That's Pantala!" Moon said, in awe.

"Oh! And maybe the weird place was the border near Eve!" Sally exclaimed.

"Yes," I mused.

"Now where is she?" I asked again.

"Hm, I think it's Jade Mountain!" Qibli yelped.

We gazed at the map, and after a few minutes, it was moving toward us.

Caroline's POV

Argh!!!!! I can't believe they were at the Rainforest! I was beating my wings super hard.

Hey! Slow down! Samantha said in my mind.

Ha! Nope! I shot back, grinning.

I didn't know you were so excited to see your mate, Samantha said, smirking at me.

I smacked her with my wing. Nope! You're just slow!

I stuck out my tongue.

Suddenly, I stopped and hovered in the air.

"What now!" Samantha yelled from in front.

"Imma just send us to their location!" I grinned, and without waiting for her answer, I flashed us right in front of them.

I saw the group of troublemakers with the gang of werewolves.

I glared at them, then my gaze went to Moon.

Huh. Moon?

Yeah?

Why'd you lead them to Glory and the rainforest?

Cause they were looking for you!

Then Kinkajou interrupted. "Yay! We found you!" Kinkajou bounced up and down.

"Well technically I found you."

My gaze went to Turtle. He smiled awkwardly and waved. "Um, hi?"

Then my gaze went to the piece of paper in his hand. An enchanted piece of paper.

I growled at him and he sheepishly grinned.

Suddenly, my ears started ringing and my vision started blurring.

The last thing I saw was Fane trying to hold me, with sparks on my leg, struggling since he was super tiny. Moon and Samantha yelping and trying to help me.

I was near a shore, feeling the cool breeze on my legs.

I looked at the water, smiling sadly and sorrowfully.

But then I started crying, sobbing. I walked towards the ocean.

I screamed at the deep blue water.

"Can't I not have a peaceful, happy life without any disturbance?" I screamed accusingly at the dark blue ocean, tears streaking my face.

"No one understands me!" I whisper screamed.
