16- Insane

Caroline's POV

I walked downstairs, and I saw a few packmates.

"Luna," they nodded respectfully.

I waved them off, grinning, "Bleh, don't call me Luna."

They smiled (a bit awkwardly) at me.

I ran out, checking if there was anyone around me. Then, I shifted into a dragon and spiraled into the sky.

Suddenly, Fane yelled at me in the link. SALLY'S MISSING!

I quickly shifted back and ran back to Fane.

"What?!" I yelped.

"Yeah! She is gone! Without a trace! Nobody has seen her since last week! She was out looking for her mate!"

I frowned. This was not good, and today started the one month that I couldn't use my powers...

Sally's POV

I squirmed, but it was no use. The silver chains were killing me! It hurt so bad!!!

I saw Gretchen and the leader, Dixon (?) come in.

Gretchen opened the cage and injected something into me.

I shivered and felt super weak.

The Dixon guy smirked. "Are you going to say anything?"

I am DEFINITELY not going to say anything about my BFF Caroline!

"Like anything about Fane, his weak mate, the pack... anything?" Gretchen glared at me.

Uh, hell no! I shook my head, glaring back. They think Caroline is weak! Ha! They will be hit with a thousand moons!

Dixon growled, grabbing a small knife. Silver.

He dragged it across my cheek.

Suddenly, he cut my cheek. OUCH!!!

Then he moved to my arms, and he pushed into my arm. I bit my lip, not wanting to give them the satisfaction of seeing me hurt.

He cut pieces of flesh and stabbed me in the leg a few times. Fuck!!!

Then Gretchen same over and punched me in the stomach. Twice.

Owwwwwwww! I coughed up some blood.

Then Dixon came over and punched me SUPER HARD in the face. FUCKING ASSHOLE YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS WHEN FANE OR CAROLINE FINDS YOU!!!

The last thing I saw was a smirk, and then I blacked out.

Fane's POV

A week and a half later...

So the only hints we have are:

Smelt something along the border
She went out for her mate
Was taken by some rogues
Not in neighboring packs
Probably taken for information on our pack or me or my mate

I threw down my notes in frustration. Arghhhhhhh! This is so annoying and is no use!!!

Then Caroline came in. "Anything?" I asked.

She shook her head. "I can't even use my powers since it's November!!!"

I sighed, throwing down the papers.

Where could she be?

Gretchen's POV

Heh, I love torturing annoying assholes. I walked toward Tony. He was Sally's mate, I think. He was a great bait. Although Sally was no use.
