Chapter 5-Tessa

Me and Hardin are laying in bed I still can't believe what Emery did she knew that vase ment so much to me it was a gift to us when we had our miscarriage "Hardin what if we can't help her"I start crying and he pulls me closer to him "She is such a angry little girl and she shouldn't be this angry"

"Sometimes I think it's my fault you know because how I was so angry all the time"

"No Hardin your anger and problems came from actual childhood trauma Emery has had the best upbringing don't blame your-"

"No please"I hear Emery scream and me and Hardin jump out of bed "where is she"I say when her bed is empty Hardin rushes to the wardrobe and Emery circle up in a ball "please go away away I just want my mommy and daddy please no mommy"

"Emery wake up"Hardin shakes her and her eyes snap open she nearly tackles us to the ground "shhh it's ok Em it was just a bad dream"Hardin picks her up I look at him and nod and he carry's her into our room Emery can't stop crying it's breaking my heart "Emery your safe with us"I pull her into me

"Mommy it..was...scary there was a man and he ...he said yous left and I was left all alone with baby brother but he said he was going to take him to"she sons "please still love me"she tightens her arms around me "baby of course we still love you"I start crying aswell

"I'm sorry I'm sorry for everything"

"Em just go asleep your safe now mommy and daddy are here"Hardin says and he moves closer wrapping his arms around both of us and in a few minutes Emery is asleep again I don't think me or Hardin slept for the rest of the night

The next morning Emery is meant to have school but we decide to leave her of today me and Hardin both wake before Emery we go into the kitchen I can see the tiredness in his eyes probably the same with me and we are both on our 2nd cup of coffee "hey are you alright"Hardin ask me and I nod "I'm just worried for her when she say to still love her my heart broke"

"Mine to"he says and I rest my head on his chest "morning"we hear and I turn Emery is standing in the door way "morning sweetie"I say and she gives small smile sitting up on the bar stool Hardin gives her breakfast "thank you"she says her voice small the rest of the breakfast was quiet "Emery we want to talk to you not fight just talk"I say to her and she nods we go in and sit in the living room "Emery do you want to tell us why you acted that way yesterday"I start she looks like she is thinking about something then she speaks

"I just sometimes we'll all the time everything just makes me so angry I'm and I don't know why even when I try to be happy I always have to do something bad and I'm scared that if I keep acting like this yous won't love me and you will leave me like the evil man said"

"What evil man the one in your dream?"Hardin questions

"Yes he said that's why yous left and that he was going to take baby brother aswell"

"But you don't have a baby brother"

"That's what was in the the dream I don't know"she shrugs her shoulders "Emery we will love you no matter what that will never stop you never have to worry about that and we are never going to leave you"

"Em how could we ever leave you"Hardin says and that makes her smile "who would wake me up by hitting me a pillow or who would I listen to sing in the car"he says and she giggles

"Maybe just a little bit not to much but a tiny tiny bit I'm exited for baby brother"

"Em why do you keep saying that we don't know the gender"

"I feel like it's a baby brother"she comes over and feels my stomach "and I'm never going to let anything happen to him EVER"She looks is both in the eye "and mommy I'm sorry about the vase I'll promise I'll but you a new one with my piggy bank money"she hugs both me and Hardin "baby you will always be my little princess"he tells her "I love yous"she doesn't let us go but it is the best feeling "we love you Em never forgot that"I say to her and she nods giggling hopefully from here we can help her with her anger and I'm glad she is excited for the baby and she knows she is loved that's all I wanted
