Chapter 11-Emery

"Landon let me out of this car"I huff "Emery your almost home"he tells me I'm trying my best not to get angry but Addy is so annoying she told me we are not best friends anymore Landon is my uncle but he is also my teacher so anything I do he tells my parents such a snitch and because he is Addy's dad she doesn't get in trouble

"Bye Emery"Landon says and I jump out of his car and stick my tongue out at Addy as I do I quickly hurry inside and storm past my mom "Emery how was school"ignore her and go to my room I open my diary my dad got me to write down my thought I have so I don't always say them out loud 

Addy is so annoying she told me today she is not my best friend that's fine with I don't care I don't need her she thinks she is so popular just because she is friends with Jody who is popular and now Addy is part of the gang so she doesn't want to hang out with me so I decided that she is not going to be my favourite cousin anymore and I'm not going for anymore play dates at her stupid house with her stupid parents who give stupid vegetables for dinner like come on Landon have a bit of fun that's who he is boring Landon blah blah blah that's all I hear when he talks blah blah Emery did you do your homework blah Emery stop talking blah shut up Landon I don't care and don't even get me started on Nora she makes cakes all the time but the last time she made one for me it was carrot cake like what the heck likes carrot cake

"Emery can I come in"I hear my dad say and I quickly stop writing before I can say something he comes in anyway shutting the door behind him "What's wrong little one"

"Addy is so annoying"I huff "what did she do now"

"She said we aren't best friends anymore who does she think she is"I cross my arms "well you know Addy can be a brat sometimes"

"She is a brat her parents need to teach her some manners"I tell him and he laughs "they do"

"Daddy you need to give Landon a piece of your mind"

"Why"

"All he does is talk blah blah blah"

"Did you write your thoughts down today"he asks me "yes I wrote everything down do you want to see"

"No no there your own personal things"He shakes his head "I want a new family"

"But if you get a new family you won't have your mom or-"

"No I actually don't want a new family I take that back"I hug my dad "I love you I love mom and I love little brother"

"Do you want to come out for dinner"

"Yes I just have to do something then I will be put"I tell him and he smiles and leaves I take my diary

I love my mommy because she is so beautiful she is so kind and always gives the best hugs I love my daddy because he always gets rid of the monsters under my bed and he also gives really good hugs I love them both

I put my diary down and go out the kitchen "Emery how are you feeling"my mom asks me "good I had a good talk with daddy"

"We have some exciting news that might cheer you up"my dad says "we have picked baby brothers name"

"We decided to call the new baby Auden"Auden what are weird name but I like it "When is Auden going to be here"

"3 months in July"

"I can't wait we are going to have so much fun and  Addy  won't be invited over"I state "and I want go over to her house and get my barbie dolls back but I can't even look at her so dad can you go get my stuff because I can't even look at her"

"I'll go I have to get something of Nora"my mom says standing up "make sure you get the right toys she will try steel some one me"she gives my dad a kiss then me a kiss "be good"she tells me leaving

What feels like ages and ages my mommy comes back "here is all the toys she said you left at hers she gives me the bag of stuff and I go through it "that little bitch"I shout "Emery"my parents says at the same time "no she has my limited edition barbie doll she never gave it back"I go through the bag pouring everything onto the floor "Emery you do not use that language"my mom scolds me I can't believe this tomorrow in school I'm going to make sure I get that doll back "I'm sorry she is just a meanie"I bring my stuff down to my room and get my diary

Today I feel really mad especially at Addy she gets me so mad and I didn't mean to say a bad word that's just how mad she gets me

Ok I think I let all my anger out now I fell much calmer "Emery time for your bath"my mom tells me and I go to the bathroom and my mom is running my bath "I added extra bubbles for you"she tells me she knows they make me relax I go over to her and she takes out my hair and helps me into the bath "Emery tomorrow make sure not to be mean in school to addy"she washes my hair "I won't"that's a lie I have this whole plan ready "Emery"

"I won't I promise"not "put your head back"she tells me and she starts washing my hair "close your eyes I do I hate getting shampoo in my eyes anytime my dad washes my hair he always gets shampoo in them "now all done"she dries me and puts my hosue coat on it is so cosy it has unicorn ears with my matching unicorns slippers "someone looks nice and clean"my dad says "I am"I climb into bed "Goodnight baby"my mom kisses me "night mommy night daddy"I say and they leave the room I cannot wait for school tomorrow to give addy and Jody a piece of my mind
