Carl's POV

I've been trying to reach out to Aria, but her line is unreachable, so, I decided to call Lawson.

"Carl"

"Bro, What's up? I've been trying to call Aria, but she's unreachable. Is she okay?"

"Oh...eh..."

'Now that can't be good'

"What happened?"

"The thing is....Aria got shot"

Oh! Damn!

"Is....is she alright?" I ask. My heart picks up its pace.

"To be honest....I don't know" he sighs. "She was shot in the stomach last night and the culprit is still going about Scot free." His voice holds a hint of anger.

"Who's the culprit?" I ask.

"Who else? It's Elisa Coleson!"

"That wretch!" My fists clench.
"And Avery? How's she?"

"She's doing better now. Elisa shot both of them, but Avery's wasn't that critical"

"I'm coming to New York"

Lawson's POV

"I knew that was a bad idea" Mark sighs as he sits beside me.

"Yes, but did you have a better plan?!" I snap.

"Wow! Calm down bro. I mean no harm"

"Lawson! Mark!" Mum rushes towards us. I had called them earlier and informed them about everything.

"Where are they? Are they alright?" Dad asks.

"Tell us what happened? How did my daughters get shot?" Mum asks, concern laced on her face.

"It was all that Elisa's plan!" Mark scoffs.

I explain everything to them, how Aria got an address, we decided to go with her, with the cops and how she got shot.

"Why did you allow her go!?" Mum yells.

"If I hadn't, Avery would have been dead by now!"

"So you decided to put both their lives in danger?! Curtis!" She whispers.
She only calls me Curtis when the situation is serious. Situations like this.

"Mum, we had no other choice-" Mark tries to calm her down.

"Ansel! Curtis! You both put my daughters' life in danger! You both are unbelievable!"

"Okay, where are the girls?" Dad asks and I gesture towards the hall on the left.
With one last glare at us, mum heads towards the hall.

"So doctor, how's my daughter, Aria?" mum asks

"Thankfully, the bullet didn't touch any vital organs, so she's out of danger now"

I sigh and sigh of relief, I never knew I was holding.

"Thank God" my mom smiles.

"Can I see her like right now?" She asks.

"Yeah, sure"

Nora's POV

Aria was lucky enough to have gotten only one bullet in.

I'm not certain she's dead yet, that's why, I'm going to finish everything today.
She took every single thing from me.
My important certificates
The only man I've ever loved,
My Grandma
My life!
She fucking stole my whole life!
She deserves to die.
I am ending all this, I'm going back to where we started.
