Three parts to writing a word in korean.

1. First consonant
2. Vowel
3. Final consonant (받침: bad-cheem)

Kinda like english.

Love
L is the First.
O is the Vowel.
The sound V is the Final.

Simple words (none of them are actual words)

가~ ga
갸~ gya
거~ geo
겨~ gyeo
고~ go
교~ gyo
구~ gu
규~ gyu
그~ geu
기~ gee

감~ gam
걈~ gyam
검~ geom
겸~ gyeom
곰~ gom
굠~ gyom
굼~ gum (goom)
귬~ gyoom
금~ geum
김~ geem

Easy? :)

Btw some consonants don't make their sounds when they are in the Final consonants. For example, ㅅ~ s, when put in final, it becomes a T sound. 옷 (ot)

Also when pronounce a word, there are some cases where the final consonant is moved to the next first consonant. For example: small ~ 작은 (jak-eun) because its hard to say jak eun... we pronounce it like 자근 (ja-geun) where the ㄱ is moved to the first consonant

Additional Double consonants only used for Final consonants

These are called 겹받침 (gyeob-baad-cheem) meaning that two consonants are put together.
HARD T-T
넋 - ㄱㅅ
앉 - ㄴㅈ
않 - ㄴㅎ
닭 - ㄹㄱ
삶 - ㄹㅁ
덟 - ㄹㅂ
곬 - ㄹㅅ
핥 - ㄹㅌ
읊 - ㄹㅍ
앓 - ㄹㅎ
없 - ㅂㅅ

ㄹㄱ, ㄹㅁ, ㄹㅍ is usually pronounced like ㄱ, ㅁ, ㅂ/ㅍ

How to pronounce?
Usually these 겹받침 are followed by 'ㅇ' 자음 words (first consonants: letter 'ㅇ' words)
Ex: for 넋. 을 (eul) comes after.
Then what happen is the ㅅ gets moved over to the 을. So the pronunciation for 을 becomes 슬 (seul). So 넋을= neok-seul.

넋 - ㄱㅅ (neok)

앉 - ㄴㅈ (an) 앉아. ~ 안.자. (An-ja)

않 - ㄴㅎ (an)

닭 - ㄹㄱ (daalk) ~this is really pronounced like this. It means chicken.

삶 - ㄹㅁ (saalm) ~ this means life. Yet some Koreans do pronounce it like 삼 (saam)

덟 - ㄹㅂ (dulb) ~ put it with 여 (yeo) = 여덟 (yeo- dulb) it becomes the number eight. Yet some Koreans pronounce it like 여덜 (yeo-dul)

곬 - ㄹㅅ (golt)

핥 - ㄹㅌ (haalt) ~ means lick. 핥아 ~ 할타 (haal-ta)

읊 - ㄹㅍ (eulp) ~ 었다 (eot-da) 읊었다 ~ 을펐다. (eul-peot-da)

앓 - ㄹㅎ (aal) ~ usually put with 다 (da) = 앓다 ~ 알타 (aal-ta)

없 - ㅂㅅ (eob) when put with with 어 (eo) = 없어 ~ 업서 (eob-seo)

If still have trouble pronouncing.. here is a good video ^-^
