A few days after the interview, I, who was still being treated at the police hospital, was finally declared cured and was able to return to my residence. My house, the loneliest place on earth because my parents are gone. The only thing that can distract me from feeling lonely is my job but because I got suspended, I can't go back to work. Looks like the first thing I'll do when I get home is to go visit Lodewijk.
After finishing packing and taking care of administration, by using a taxi I went home then tidied up my things for a moment then went to the nearest tram station to go to the hospital area where Lodewijk is being treated. After I arrived at my destination station, I immediately walked out of the station to the hospital building then got into it and immediately went to the part of the hospital's building where the patients who were being treated in the ICU were placed then when I got there I walked to the reception desk to ask about Lodewijk.

"Excuse me, miss. I want to ask, is there a patient in this ICU building section whose name is Lodewijk Engels?"
"Please wait for a moment miss, let me check it first on the patient list." she then checked the patient list on the computer and then continued her sentence.
"Yes, there is a patient with that name, who are you if I may know?" she asked me.
"I'm his close friend." I replied to her.
"Can I see your citizenship card, miss?" she asked me.
I took out my wallet and took my citizenship card, handed it over to the receptionist then she checked it for a moment then asked me to fill in the guest book which is on a electronic tablet that she gave to me.
"Can you please fill in the guest book first, miss?" asked her.
"Yes." I said to her then filled the guest book on the electronic tablet and returned it to the receptionist.
"Mr. Lodewijk Engels is treated in room number 15." she said, giving me the room number where Lodewijk is being treated.
"Thank you for the information, miss." I replied to her with friendly tone and a smile.
"You're welcome." she replied to me while smiling back
I went into the ICU then looked for the room number where Lodewijk was being treated then slowly opened the door when I had found his room number and closed the door again then walked to the bed where he was lying. For some reason, seeing him wrapped in bandages like that made me imagine all the pain he had to go through because according to the news I received from Riri, what caused Lodewijk to be bandaged like that was because both of his arms, hands, calves and legs were broken.
Riri once told me that comatose patients can hear the voices of people around them and talking to comatose patients will help them to recover faster, hopefully what I said to him can help him recover faster. I opened my mouth and greeted him.
