The presiding judge again asked the public prosecutor who he would call next to testify.

"Mr. Stijn, do you have any other witnesses you want to summon before the court?"

"Yes, Your Honor. I would like to summon mr. Rost van Tonningen to testify." said Stijn in answer to the presiding judge's question.

"Mr. Rost, are you willing to give your testimony under oath?" asked the presiding judge.

"Yes, Your Honor, I am willing." he answered the presiding judge's question as he stood up from his seat then came forward to the middle of the courtroom, was sworn in and sat on the witness chair, then Stijn was allowed to ask him.

"Mr. Rost, are you a member of the board of directors of the LVDC charity foundation?"

"Yes, that's correct."

"Are you also a member of the board of directors in the LVDC & Telecom, B.V. company?"

"Yes, right."

"On the paper of your profile, it is written here that you are also a member of the audit committee of the LVDC charity foundation.

As a member of the audit committee of the LVDC charity foundation, do you have any knowledge about where the funds in the institution that you manage come from and where the funds go along with the amount of the money that come and go?"

"Yes, I know it."

"Do you also have knowledge that the funds contained in the charity foundation that you are managing were donated to the Partij voor Nederlandse-Indische Democratie party, that Neo-NSB party in which a few years ago was disbanded and being putted into the category of prohibited organizations?"

"Yes, I know it."

"Why did some of the funds of the charity foundation that you managed are being donated to that party?"

"Before the party was disbanded and being putted on the list of banned organizations, the policies that were being made by the party in my and some of my friends's opinion were quite logical and good enough to be applied to the people of the Verenigde Staaten van Indonesië because, at that time, we believed in the real threat that is being presented by the ideology that is being brought and spread by the radical Islamic extremists and terrorist groups.

At least that's the judgement that we have towards that party before that party was increasingly oppressing the people of the Verenigde Staaten van Indonesië which led us to stop giving donations to the party through the LVDC foundation's charity funds."

"However, in the financial audit of the charity foundation that you managed, the donations provided by the LVDC charity foundation to the party were only stopped when the Verenigde Staten van Indonesië was in the transitional government period after the party fell and lost its political power, and the party being putted into the category of banned organizations during the transitional government.

So, why is the LVDC foundation still providing donations to that party during the transitional government period?"

"Because at that time, giving donations to the party was included in the agenda of the financial management of the institution that me and my colleagues manged and we could not change it because it was beyond our authority."

"Who has the authority to change the financial activity agenda of the LVDC charity foundation?"

"The decision regarding the LVDC foundation's financial activity agenda was taken in a meeting that is being held with the other members of the board of directors and the chairman of the board of directors of the charity foundation, which consisted a total of eight people.
