POV Sofia

I got into the car after answering those journalists's and reporters's questions. The car started to move followed by the police who escorted my trip. In the car, I opened a social media account that was devoted to the needs of the general public which was managed by the admin from the royal officials. The admin has updated my visit to prison today and wrote down the status and caption that I have written and sent to the admin.

I opened the comment's column and read the contents. The comments that the followers on that account gave to me are quite colorful. Many insulted me but many also supported me. The insult that I got ranged from inlanders hoer (native's whore) or the wish for my death like val dood bij kanker (die with cancer), lellebel (prostitutes) and also insults from Indigenous Indonesians who say "We don't need the kindness from the invaders, I hope you die quickly infidel!" but there are also many who defend me like "She maybe not a muslim but at least she cares for her people not like you who can only spread hatred on the internet." Then there was a debate on the comment column that discussed the history of atrocities that my ancestors committed in the past even though they still defended me because in every celebration of United States Republic of Indonesia's independence, me and other royals who lived here expressed our apologies to the residents and also, The king always poured grant money to pay compensation for the families of victims of war in the past every year that has begun since the early 2000's.

They also cheered me up by saying, "Don't listen to the poor comments that are directed towards you Princess, I am with you." or "Princess Sofia, you did the right thing, don't give up, continue to speak the truth." and also comments that compliment me like. "Princess Sofia, we are proud of you." Sometimes, there are comments that contain the feelings of the people such as "I am a Dutchman, born, lived and grew up here peacefully with the natives, but since the Prime Minister's statement about his will to implement that policy, the atmosphere has become tense, it's only you who makes the atmosphere calmed a bit, dank u mevrouw, we houde van u (thank you my lady, we love you)." when I was still reading, my butler asked.

"Mevrouw, why did you cry when you visited your friends?"

"I feel sorry for what they have experienced because they are considered dangerous to my life."

"Is it really just because of that? Because I feel there is something more to it."

"What do you mean?"

"I pay attention when you were talking to your friend named Karim, your face blushed and then you reveal something that if I'm not mistaken you are in love with him."

"Hmmm, yes, I said that to him, is that a problem?"

"No, that's not a problem, you've already cut off your contact with heer Vinno and for me it's a good move it's just ..."

"What?"

"How long do you want to hide about the end of your relationship with your ex-fiancé who had been arranged by the royal family since many years ago? Wouldn't it be a problem if you kept hiding it?"

"Yes, one day I will tell my family but not now, now is not the right time because I want to focus on saving my friends and the fate of the people here."

"You are truly a good princess."

"You praised me too much, Mr. Wisnu."

"I think it's not too much, many people love you, I can feel it even when you were a child, you showed good human characteristics."

"Am I? What kindness have I ever done so that you can say something like that?"

"Before heer Vinno came here and restrained your movements, there were times when I was sick, you visited me and come with the food you bought, you also ordered your personal doctor to examine me and make sure I was okay by giving me food supplements and vitamins."

"Ah, yes, I remember."

"Or when the Eid is over every Ramadan, you always use the money given by your parents to buy clothes and foods supplies for those who are less able to celebrate the happiness of Eid like the others."

"That's not much, there many people who are better than me, I feel even less useful because I can't alleviate the suffering that the people here experienced."

"But for me, your actions give a big influence to people like me, thank you, Princess. If I may be honest, when your parents leave you with me, I feel annoyed because I think my fate is unlucky to have to take care of spoiled royal child whose ancestors invaded my nation but it turned out that my thought was wrong, after spending years with you, my mindset changed. Humans are human, some are evil, some are good. Not all Dutch are bad and not all native people are good. I feel like I'm the luckiest person that can serve someone like you."

"Thank you, Mr. Wisnu for accepting me."

"No, my lady, I should thanked you for humanizing me. I love you, you are like my own daughter and to be honest, I am afraid that your life will be in danger because of your controversial statements lately. If I may, I have a request, I beg you to stay in my house until this matter is resolved. "

"Thank you Mr. Wisnu for worrying about my safety, but I don't want to be a bother for Mr. Wisnu."

"Ah, my lady, I have never felt bothered by you. I will do whatever I can for your safety and security, so I beg you, please stay in my house until this matter is resolved."

"Very well then Mr. Wisnu, I grant your request."

"Thank you, Princess."

"You're welcome."

I arrived at the dormitory. I got out of the car, thanked the policemen who had escorted my journey then went inside with my butler. When I entered, some royals looked at me cynically, trying to avoid me and there were whispering filled with insults. However, there are also those who smile at me and bow themselves respectfully as I passing by. I think the situation here is also divided between those who have the same mindset as me and those whose mindset are contrary to me.

I put my things and clothes in my suitcase with my butler's help and then, after everything was done, we returned to the car, put my belongings in the car's trunk and went to Mr. Wisnu's house. Considering the utterance of death threats and killing threats that I have received lately it might be right for me to stay at my butler's house, hopefully my decision is right.
