" bubba I don't feel good" Lexie whines to her brother Niall.
" come here, let me feel your forehead" says Niall.
Niall picks up Lexi and sure enough, she is burning up.
Niall gets a thermometer, and checks her temperature, 103.1.
" you've got a temp. What hurts love?" Asked Niall
" everything. Like literally bubba. My stomach hurts the worse, it makes me wanna cry. My head hurts, my arms hurt. My everything hurts" Lilly says almost crying.
" I'm gonna lay you down on the couch okay? And I'm going to put some pressure on your stomach" Niall says softly.
He lays Lexi on the couch and puts some pressure on certain parts of her stomach, making her cry out very loudly in pain.
" we might need to take you to the doctor. We have a concert in an our, let's see what we can do" Niall says " Louis! Zayn!" Screams Niall through the rented house
" what's all the screaming about?" Asked Zayn
" Lexi very sick. Her fever is 103.1, she said everything hurts including arms, head, and stomach. She said her stomach hurts the worst to where she is crying in pain. I went to put pressure on her stomach and she cried very Loudly" Niall said worried " I know we have to leave for the concert in an hour but she needs to get to a doctor" Niall adds
Zayn and Louis observe Lexi. She looks pale, she's crying and holding her stomach.
" go get your shoes. I'll take you to the pediatric closest to here" Louis says " Zayn you'll get everyone to the concert on time and we will meet you there" Louis says
" I can do that, yes" Zayn says
" I'll go get them and Lexi." Niall says and runs off.
Louis and Niall get on jackets and shoes. Niall puts on Lexi jacket and shoes.
They get into the car. Niall helps Lexi into her booster seat and sits by her in the next seat.
Halfway through the car ride. Lexi starts crying.
" it hurts. Hurts bad" Lexi says crying
" shhh shhh you'll be okay Lexi. We are almost there" Niall says softly
" it hurts, I don't feel good" Lexi cries and then boom before anyone can react she throws up.
" is she okay?" Louis asked worried
" she just threw up" Niall says softly and rubs her back.
They make it to the hospital. Niall immediately gets out, and picks up Lexi.
Louis gets out and they go inside.
" hello, I'm Louis Tomlinson. This is Niall and Lexi Horan. Lexi is very sick. She's got a 103.1 fever, she's crying her stomach hurts so bad. She has a headache and body ache. She also just threw up" Louis says
" let me get a room for you" the nurse says " I'll need the paperwork signed by a guardian or family member" she adds
" got ya" Louis says and takes the paperwork.
They go and sit down.
They fill out the paperwork and submit it.
Within minutes they are called back to a room.
" what is going okay with the little one?" Asked the doctor
" she's been crying in pain today, she says her stomach hurts extremely bad and it is making her cry. She is burning up 103.1. Her head hurts, and she threw up. She has body aches as well" Niall says " she's gotten stomach aches pretty bad before, usually with certain foods, but this is different, it's extremely painful" he adds " she's sick."
" alright, I've got you. Let's take a look at her. Little one can you sit on the table for me?" Asked the doctor nicely.
Niall helps Lexi on the bed. She flinches at first when the doctor touched her and then eases up.
He checks her throat and ears, great. He checks her breathing, and it's not perfect, but she has asthma. Her lungs sound a little congested, she does have a cough.
He checks her temperature, and it is now it is 104.3.
" we are going to run some test" says the doctor
So that's what they do, they check her blood, so like a blood sample. They do an ultra sound. They run test.
It's been almost an hour. They really need to get to the concert.
" it looks like your sister has an ulcer on her stomach. She also has Upper respiratory infection. And I'm thinking she has a digestion problem with acid foods, so we will get her medicine for that" the doctor says
" I will say she can go home with you but she needs to rest. I'll be giving her an acid reducer medicine, she takes daily everyday.
For the infection, she will get an antibiotic, and coughing medicine.
I will be prescribing her a higher dosage pain medicine for when the pain gets bad.
And let's schedule a time for surgery for the ulcer?" He says
" yes that sounds amazing. Thank you so much. When can we do it?" Asked Niall
Louis and Niall pick a time for next week. The doctor gives her some medicine and sends them home with plenty of medicine.
Louis calls a friend, asking if they can go to the hotel and stay with Lexie as she can't be at the concert sick.
They say yes, so Louis quickly drops off Lexie, which because she was sleeping, wasn't hard and they rush over to the concert and make it there just in time.
" where's Lexie?" Asked Zayn
" we will explain more of what happened, but for now she is at the hotel with Amber, and she is sleeping. So she'll be okay. If any of the kiddos get restless, she said she can watch them" Louis says
" great, tell me more on the break" Zayn says
They all run out on stage, and start doing all the singing.
" we should play a prank on them" says Carson and chuckles
" I wouldn't be apposition to that" says Cameron and chuckles
" I really don't think that's a good idea" says Madi
" it'll be fun" the boys say and run off with Sam.
Oh no..........
