I watched as Dylan pulled out of the drive way, and I just went back in the house. It was my fault that he left. I shouldn't have worn the wrong thing and we would have been fine. Pushing the thought from my mind, I made my way into my room. I was home alone, so I decided that I would take a nap and just wait until someone came home. It didn't take long after I laid down and locked my eyes together, that I passed out completely.

1:00 am.

I could hear the shuffling of the bed, so I peeled my eyes apart and looked at the time.

I did not intend on sleeping all day.

"Dylan?" I questioned with a groggy voice.

"Yea, it's me baby," he replied. Slipping his body under the covers. I turned my body around and looked at Dylan face to face.

"What took you so long baby? I was lonely today." I questioned, wrapping my arms around his body. I closed my eyes at the touch of him and waited for him to reply.

"I'm sorry baby, I had a lot of work to do. I had to meet all the workers, not to mention the company was very busy today."

I smiled slightly at him before my eyelids became heavy.

"I love you," I mumble.

"I love you too Brooke."

_

"Brooke, wake your little booty up." I heard Dylan whisper in my ear. I smiled softly and batted my eyes open.

"I'm up baby."

"Good," Dylan responded, getting up from his side of the bed and making his way into the bathroom. "I'm going into work early again. I want to get some more of my work completed so I need all the extra hours I can get," Dylan yelled from the bathroom.

"I understand," I replied, laying flat down on the bed. Dylan stayed in the bathroom a bit longer before he came out all dressed up.

"Baby you look so sexy in that," I reply, looking at him from top to bottom.

"I need your help with my tie. You know I suck at this, plus, I need you to help me decide. The blue one, or green one?" He asked, holding up the ties in either hands.

"Oh definitely the blue one," I replied, getting out of the bed and walking over to him to help with his tie. Removing the tie from his hand and wrapping it around his neck. "Baby, I really need to teach you how to do this." I joked.

He playfully hit my shoulder and I giggled, looking at his neck as I tied the tie around.

"What's that?" I asked, pointing to a mark that was on his neck. He quickly brought his hand up to trace over it.

"Oh, that's nothing." Dylan lied. I'm not stupid. I know what I saw. It was a hickey and I'm one hundred percent positive that I didn't give that to him.

"Are you sure? It looks an awful lot like a hi-"

"I said it's nothing" he replied.

I nodded my head, dismissing the conversation and we both remained quiet as I continued to tie the tie.

After I had finished tying Dylan's tie, he stepped away and grabbed his watch off of the night stand before snapping it on his wrist.

"I'll be home late tonight, so don't wait up." Was all he said before walking out of the room and leaving the house.

Exhaling deeply before I laid down in bed and grabbed my phone. I looked at the screen and realized I had a message from Claire. I slid it open and unlocked, and read the message.
