"Mr. Matthews, it's your turn to present your project." Mrs. Walker announced.

She's our health teacher. We were asked to do a study on whether we believe staying abstinent will outcome in a very successful, long lasting relationship, or if having sex will keep a relationship going.
Alex Matthews, a boy apart of the junior varsity, also very a immature person got up to present his side.

"I believe that staying abstinent means you're a cock tease. I mean get real, what guy is gonna want a girl that is always trying to keep her legs closed?" He asked the class.

All his friends began laughing.

"Exactly! Tell it how it is bro!" Dylan; another boy from the junior varsity team shouted.

"If a guy wants to bang his girl, he should be able to bang his girl! The relationship is pointless if you have sex with her. I'm a man! I need more than one lady, unlike any other guy in here, to me, sex is key," he spoke.

Finishing his presentation, I shook my head in disbelief as his group of buddies began laughing and colliding hands with each other.

"Immaturity," I whispered under my breath.

"Mr. Matthews, I'm glad you think it's funny! You can laugh your way through the 1,000 word essay you will be doing now. That goes for everyone else who laughed at this knuckle head," Mrs. Walker added, mentally smiling and clapping my hands as she took control of the immature idiots in the class.

"Mrs. Wal-" he began, clearly at a loss for words at this point.

"Oh, and by the way, it's due tomorrow!" She spoke, smiling at her authoritative position. "BS!" Alex interrupted. "Well ya know... Make that 2,000. For every one who laughed during that freak show," she added.

"What the hell, dude!" Dylan huffed, giving Alex an evil glare. Alex raised his hands in defence and didn't say another word.

"Who's next to present?" Mrs. Walker asked, looking out at the group of students before her.

"Me!" A blonde added. None other than Ashley.

"Ms. Roberts! Come on up." Mrs. Walker announced clearly enthused. I role my eyes as Ashley made her way to the front of the class. She straightened her cami and dusted her mini-skirt before clearing her throat.

"I believe that staying abstinent is a great way to keep a relationship going. I mean look at Liam and I. We've been together for four months and we've still remained abstinent," she said, looking proud.
I shook my head in disbelief. This was ridiculous!

"Lie, lie, lie," I whispered under my breath. I recalled Liam talking about an eventful night full of sexual favors with Ashley.

"When you remain abstinent, it keeps your guy wondering. So he's bound to stay, just like Liam," she added. "Therefore. Abstinence is key!" She said loudly, trying to get the fact that Alex's point was completely wrong. I can't believe she had the nerve to lie to us.

"Great job Ms. Roberts! That's how it's done people." Mrs. Walker spoke happily clapping.

"I'm glad you enjoyed it," Ashley added before taking her seat.

"Ok, last but certainly not least, Ms. Thomson let's see if you can beat that great report," she said, making me feel insecure. Ashley shook her head, doubting that I could beat her presentation. 'Ill show this bitch' I thought to myself as I got up from my seat to go present my case.

"Uh..."I stuttered, clearly at a lost for words as I stood in front of the class. I was still shy, being the new girl and all. Ashley just smiled. "Asking if staying abstinent will keep a long lasting relationship is a tricky question. I did a study when I lived back in New York for my Child Development class and found that half of teenage couples agreed, and half disagreed. A nonsexual relationship can keep two people together because sex isn't the key to love. Love is. So therefore, they believed that sex isn't the way to keep a relationship, but loving each other unconditionally was. Love is the way. For the others who believed that having sex will keep a long lasting relationship also gave a deep answer. One girl I asked said that a relationship with sex keeps a couple together. She believed that being sexually active brought the two closer and it opened up another door that made them love each other more. She said, when she had sex with her lover, it made her feel more connected. It opened a new door that made her trust in him more. So I believe that both are definitely good answers, it's just the couple. Whether the couple is in love enough to have such a powerful thing like sex come in the middle," I spoke, coming to an end. And it turned out that I was feeling more confident than ever.
