I internally scoff at the contact name Car saved herself as, someone needs to control that girls god complex.
"Thank fuck." Levi breathes, smiling down at his phone slightly.
The scar along his face looks red and sore, but he's said nothing about it, shying away from us when we stare a little too long.
We will kill that Emiliano kid one of these days. And we'll make it fucking painful.
"Where did she learn to be so independent?" Milan says, albeit a little sadly knowing she didn't need to fully depend on us anymore.
"And smart too. She really is our little mob boss." I add on, still baffled at Car's ability to hand this shit on her own.
Not that I think Car couldn't do it, I had no doubt she could. But fully grown mafia men have issues resolving contracts like this.
Me:
Well done, little mob boss ;) we'll drink to it when we get home.
"You're gonna encourage her to drink?" Maxim asks, looking at me weirdly. I furrow my brows at him.
"She's 18, no?" I say, and realisation dawns on my brothers.
"How'd she grow up so quickly?" Milan groans, rubbing his hands along his face.
"But the drinking age in America is 21." Levi says, smartass.
"Yeah but the US is fucked, where we're from we drink at 12 minimum." Maxim scoffs. I nod at that, 21 is too old to begin drinking.
So they'll enlist 18 year olds in the army, and hire 18 year old prostitutes but they can't learn about substance abuse?
