Alison POV:
"Mom!" Asher yells as he cries.
I go up to Emily and can see her faintly breathing.
I press the code blue button and a bunch of nurses and doctors rush into the room with a crash cart.
"Mom!" Asher screams as the kids get pushed out of the hospital room.
He tries to fight back but can't. He tries pushing himself backwards with his feet but can't.
He screams and cries as everything goes in slow motion for me.
Shay holds onto the babies as Whitney curls into a ball of the ground and cries.
They're in just as much shock as I am.
"Emily...Please don't do this." I cry as I stand by the wall.
She flatlines and the ringing of the monitor echoes on my ears.
"Emily!" I scream in horror.
"Clear!" One doctor yells as he holds up the shock equipment.
He places them on Emily's chest and shocks her once.
Nothing.
"Clear!" He yells again.
Twice.
Nothing.
Three times.
Nothing.
"Please, Emily!" I cry as my chest heaves in and out.
He shocks her a fourth time and she rises off the bed as a loud gasp leaves her mouth.
"Oh, God." I cry, and clasp my hand over my mouth.
After another fifteen minutes or so, the doctors finally leave.
But not without giving Emily something to help her.
The room is quiet. Almost eerie.
"The...kids when out in the hallway." I say quietly, having to pause every few seconds.
Emily just nods her head, and lays back into the pillow.
"Are you tired? I could leave." I say.
"It's fine." She says almost in a whisper.
I give her a small smile, and get up to let the kids back in.
"Mom! I thought I lost you!" Asher wails as he sobs.
I can tell it's hard for him to breathe by how shaky his breaths are, and the way he's acting.
Emily hugs him tight, and he climbs into the hospital bed next to her.
Shay hugs Emily next, and lays down on the couch.
Whitney is also sobbing, everyone is. She hugs Emily, and then lays down with Shay.
The triplets have tear stained cheeks, and climb into the hospital bed. Michael lays between Asher and Emily, Phoenix is in between Emily's legs, and Emerson is laying on top of Asher.
This is my family.
And it has to stay this way.
Emily has to get better.
We have to be a happy family.
All together.
