After y/age years on this earth, you are ready for a change
to some, this may be a small one but for you it is huge
you are planning on cutting your hair, what makes this huge is youve never cut your hair ever before. maybe when you were a baby but not since preschool
the only problem is youre worried how your boyfriend Christian will react
he always tells you how beautiful he thinks your hair is and youre worried he wont love you once you cut it
despite your nerves, you still are planning on surprising him with it
you get to the hairdresser and immediately become nervous
"so how long has it been since your last haircut" your hair dressser asks you as they look at you
"well probably since i was a baby, ive never actually cut it before"
"oh wow so this is all your natural color too?"
"yup"
"okay well lets change that"
she cuts the first part of your hair and surprisingly you feel relieved
after an hour she finally finishes and when you look at it you immeditely regret it. it might just feel strange but you wish you never cut any of it
eventually you get home and wait for christian to arrive and see it. to actually surprise it you put a hat on and the hood of your favoritte hoodie
"im hooooome" christian sings walking in the house
"hey" you say looking at him
"you look different.. and cold? are you sick"
"no no i have a surprise for you though"
"oh okay cool wait... youre not pregnant are you?"
"definitely not, now close your eyes please"
he listens and you take off your hat and hood
"open"
"ooo i hope you're naked!"
"shut up and open your eyes"
he takes his hands off and looks
"oh my god your hair!" he shockingly says
"oh no you dont like it" you start to cry and he hugs you
"what no i love it hey stop crying its beautiful"
"no its not i look so gross and ugly and its so short. and you hate it and you hate me and you-"
"stop that none of thats true" he says interuptting you "i love you and your hair no matter what okay"
"so i still look pretty"
"of course you do... plus you kinda look like me! do you think im cute?"
"mhm very cute"
"exactly so then look now you're even more cuter and beautiful and perfect"
