Meanwhile, Edward is going to visit Rebecca. The man passes a security post without problems, leaves his car in the small parking lot, gets out of it, and takes his bag from the backseat. Then he glances at the amazingly beautiful but quite modest house of his mother and smiles slightly, being happy he would live in a more wonderful condition. Feeling this thought warms him up, MacClife, Jr., locks his auto with a key, exhales sharply, and goes to the house of Rebecca slowly but confidently, holding the belt of the bag that he keeps placed above his shoulder.

Edward quickly comes to the hall door, stands in front of it for a few seconds, and then presses the doorbell, starting to wait for some reaction and shifting his weight from one foot to another. He does not have to wait for a long time because Rebecca opens the door some time later and wonders truly when she sees her younger son on the doorstep.

"Oh, Edward..." Rebecca says with a slight smile. "Hi, my dear. I didn't know you'd wish to come."

"Hey, Mom," Edward greets amicably. "Sorry for bothering you."

"No, no, it's okay..." Rebecca greets Edward by hugging him tightly and kissing him on the cheek amicably. "I was gonna be watching a TV show, but I can watch its repeat."

Rebecca steps back from Edward smiling slightly and unconsciously glances at his bag, the belt of which is placed above his shoulder.

"Listen, what's in your bag?" Rebecca wonders truly. "Did you come with your stuff?"

"Yes, I came with my stuff," Edward nods and looks down for a second. "You said you'd be glad if I moved to you."

"Yeah, I'd be... But..."

"Say, can I move in here right now?"

"Erm, yeah, sure..." Rebecca replies a little hesitantly with a slight smile. "You can do it..."

"Erm, aren't you happy with it?" Edward asks with a little sad gaze.

"No, c'mon, my sweetie! Of course, I'm madly glad! You just doubted if you should've done it so much... And I didn't think you'd decide to move in so sharply."

"I was reflecting on your suggestion much, and I am accepting it with pleasure," Edward looks at Rebecca with greater pity. "Please, Mom, let me live with you. I really want it..."

"Of course, sonny, how can I refuse?" Rebecca replies a little hesitantly with a slight smile. "Since you decided to live with me, welcome. Come in the house, please, feel like home."

When Rebecca steps back from the doorstep and lets him go, Edward slowly enters the house with a shy smile. He comes to the living room, puts his black bag on the sofa, and massages his shoulder, which hurts a little, looking around with admiration and rejoicing that he manages to live in a more comfortable condition with his close person is finally coming true.

"I knew you'd accept my suggestion early or late," Rebecca confesses, coming to Edward, who turns on her after he hears her voice. "So, I prepared a small room for you."

"Great," Edward smiles shyly. "I can't wait to look at that."

"Then let me lead you there, so you get used and sort your stuff out."

"With pleasure."

"Take your bag and follow me."

Edward places the bag above his shoulder and follows Rebecca, who turns around and goes to the very beautiful marble, light brown stairs with railings of the same color. While he is going up, the man looks at everything he sees with admiration, not hiding his slight smile. After going upstairs, they go down the long and wide, comfortable hall, which is well-lighted in daylight and nighttime thanks to big windows and a few chandeliers hanging on the white ceiling, the edges of which are framed with baseboard.
