Harry, Ron and Hermione walking together across the grounds.

"It can't be Hagrid. It just can't be." Hermione says.

"We don't even know this Riddle. He sounds like a dirty, rotten snitch to me."

"The monster had killed someone, Ron. What would any of us done?" Harry says.

"Look. Hagrid's our friend. Why don't we just go ask him about it?" Hermione suggests.

"Look a good idea finally" Regulus says.

"That'd be a cheerful visit. Hullo, Hagrid. Tell us, have you been setting anything mad and hairy loose in the castle lately?" Ron says as Hagrid walks behind them.

"Mad an' hairy? Wouldn' be talkin' 'bou me, now would yeh?" The trio wheels, spots Hagrid grinning at them. They instantly look guilty.

"No!"

"Maybe not" Regulus says.

"Did you actually think they'd do the smart thing for once" Rory asked looking at him with a slight smirk.

Hagrid looks at them curiously. Harry nods to the strange canister in his hand.

"What's that you've got, Hagrid?"

"Flesh-Eatin' Slug Repellent. Fer the Mandrakes, yeh know. Accordin' ter Professor Sprout, they still got a bit o' growin' up ter do, but once their acne clears up, we'll be able to chop 'em up, stew 'em, an' get those people in the hospital un-Petrified. 'Til then, you three best watch yerselves, all righ'?" They nod, watch Hagrid lope away. Just then, Neville comes running up. He looks pale with fright.

"Harry, I don't know who did it, but you'd better come."

"Oh dear god whats happened now" Lily moans.

Harry's space is a disaster, his trunk riffled, drawers flung open, bedclothes strewn on the floor.

"It had to be a Gryffindor. Nobody else knows our password. Unless, it wasn't a student" Hermione says.

"Well, whoever it was, they were looking for something." Ron adds.

"And they found it Tom Riddle's diary is gone."

"Why would anyone want a diary that looks empty?" Remus asks.

"Maybe they knew how it really worked" Alice suggests.

Harry and his teammates march toward the Quidditch tower. 

"Listen up now. We play our game, Hufflepuff doesn't stand a chance. We're stronger, quicker, smarter." Wood tells his team.

James glares at the screen along with Sirius.

"Seriously you two, I'm not even going out with him as this point" Rory says to them.

"He still went near my baby" James tells her.

"Plus Rory you literally get with him a few months after this" Hermione tells her.

"Yeah don't remind me. Mistakes were definitely made that year" 

"Are you ever going to actually tell us why you broke up" Ginny asks.

"Difference of opinion, yeah we'll go with that" Rory says shrugging.

"That's a lie isn't it" Regulus whispers.

"100 percent a lie" Rory whispers back.

"Not to mention they're dead terrified Harry'll Petrify them if they fly anywhere near him." George says smiling.
