Change the Future

*POA 9*

Rory was woken on Christmas morning by an owl tapping the window.

"That owl is beautiful" Some of the girls shouted out.

"It's Rory's" Harry told them.

"What kind of owls that?" Neville asks looking for at Rory.

"Some mutation snowy owl. Two snowy owl parents all snowy owl siblings yet she's black" Rory says smiling at her owl.

"Where did you get her just so we know for the future" Lily asks.

"Hogsmeade in my 5th year during the last Hogsmeade visit" 

Rory gets up opening the window and letting her in she's carrying a small note on her leg. Rory takes the note before placing her on the perch and getting her some treats.

Meet us in the common room with your presents- F&G

Grabbing her presents she heads down to the common room where the twins are waiting. Harry, Ron and Hermione are there too.

"Finally" Fred shouts as he spots her.

"Another jumper from Mum. Maroon again see if you've all got one" Ron says looking at all the others. They all found the presents from Mrs. Weasley. Harry opened his first to reveal a scarlet jumper with the Gryffindor lion knitted on the front, also a dozen home-baked mince pies, some Christmas cake, and a box of nut brittle. Rory opened hers next to reveal a black jumper with a purple dragon, some Christmas cake like Harry, some toffee and some sugar quills.

"I love your mum so much" She says smiling at the twins who are holding up their own jumpers. They both have green jumpers with their initial's on.

Molly smiles at Rory.

"Honestly I love your jumpers mama bear"

"What is it with her and putting our initial's on our jumpers. Do you think it's so she can tell us apart" George says.

"Maybe" Rory smiles at him before opening the rest of her presents. One contains 3 chocolate bars.

"Wonder who that one's from" Sirius says smirking at Remus.

She picks up the last one which doesn't have a note. Opening it to reveal a beautiful locket with a rose on the front, opening it to find 2 photo's one of a young girl with red hair with Lily and James and the other is the same girl with Sirius and Remus.

"Who was that from" Euphemia asks Rory.

"Pads"

"What's that?" Ron asks pointing to one of Harry's presents that s a long thin package.

"Dunno" Harry rips the parcel open and everyone gasps as a magnificent, gleaming broomstick rolled out onto the floor in front of him. Ron dropped his socks he was holding and jumped closer for a better look.

"I don't believe it," he said hoarsely. It was a Firebolt, identical to the dream broom Harry kept going to see in Diagon Alley. Its handle glittered as he picked it up.

"It's that broom" James says mesmerised by the screen along with half the students.

"Do you think now would be a good time to tell him I have one as well that I don't use" Rory whispers to Harry.

"You don't use yours" James looks at her shocked.

"Have no reason to, didn't even need the broom but apparently its only fair" Rory rolls her eyes.
