👼 MY ANGEL 👼

I cannot believe what I have just read. The demons my mum claimed to have been seeing, were they real?

Was someone making her see them? But how? I don't understand.

Can someone make someone hallucinate demons?

Who is Esther Rowland? Did my sister already meet her?

Does this have any relation to what happened today? I don't see any.

If Gwen was looking for this woman, that means she completely believed our mum was targeted and killed.

The Rowland name, though, sounded familiar. Like I've heard it before. Just then, I remembered something - a letter that mum wrote for us while in the hospital.

Gwen took all the letters, saying she needed them. I quickly rushed to look for it. It was in a box carefully placed in her room.

I didn't have to search through the contents of the box for too long before I found it. It was among mum's other letters.

This particular one was short and simple. Just a few words: "The real evil are the Rowlands. They sent demons who want to torment me to my death. My daughters, be wary."

At that time, I didn't know who the Rowlands were, and I still don't.

And at that time, I just thought she had given a name to her hallucination monsters. I didn't take it seriously.

And it seems like I was the only twin who didn't. I wonder why Gwen never told me about their conversation with mum. Did she and mum talk about the demons, and did she believe they were real like mum did?

Is it because of how crazy that sounds? "Gwen, why keep me in the dark? Why not tell me about your suspicions? Is this what you have been working on? Is that why you moved to this city?"

I don't know if I should believe this theory either. My last memories with mum mostly involve me being scared, hoping her mood swings wouldn't switch and she wouldn't start screaming and shaking out of nowhere.

She was unstable, that's all I know. She died from suicide, that's a fact. No one killed her. She took her own life. It's obvious.

I decide to ignore all of this and just relax. My mum and my sister are now together. I hope they are in a better place.

One day, we will meet again. We'll hold each other, tell each other how much we miss each other. One day. I close the box, putting the letters away.

I plan on going to my apartment tomorrow and getting some stuff for myself.

I go to the kitchen to make some coffee. I could use one after the morning I had. I want to forget the whole experience at the wedding completely. I just hope I never see those people again.

At least the day is coming to an end.

Just as I put the mug full of hot coffee to my lips, about to take a sip, there's a knock at the door.

I put the coffee on the counter and go to the door. I peep through the peephole, but I don't spot anyone. I decide to open it and check it out just to be sure.

The moment I open it, someone comes from leaning against the wall and walks to the door. This person holds my left shoulder and starts pushing me, forcing me to walk backwards as he lets himself in.

"Hello, Gwen!" Jeremy, the groom from this morning, says with an evil smirk on his lips.

"What's wrong, sweetheart? You look scared."
