He walked closer to her and then said calmly, "It could go from just a year... Or 30 in federal prison."

Elsa immediately panicked. She started shaking like a scared little rabbit. Tears welled up in her eyes.

And despite how much she tried to fight them, they rolled down her cheeks. "Mr. Callahan, please believe me. I am not Gwen," she said in a shaky voice as she began to cry.

She was confused. What was going on? What is happening right now?

"Stop with the acting, you have already been caught... Your crocodile tears won't save you... And if you are tried right now, you will be found guilty."

"Guilty? Guilty of fraud?" she asked. Jeremy just nodded then shrugged.

"How do those documents say I am Gwen? I have no idea, but I am telling you the truth... Just let me go, I beg you," her voice cracked while she begged him.

She just wanted to leave. She didn't want any of this. At all. Why are Gwen and her suddenly connected like this? They have both lived their separate lives all this time.

Jeremy, however, looked at the scared girl in front of him indifferently. "The marriage will be this weekend."

"W-what...?" Elsa couldn't believe her ears. He still wanted to marry her?

"The marriage... We're getting married."

"But..."

"What?"

"I don't want to marry you."

"(Scoffs) And you think I want to marry you? Don't kid yourself."

That both hurt and was a relief. All at the same time.

"Well, if you don't want to marry me, too... Then let's not get married," she suggested carefully. This whole marriage would just be ridiculous anyway. She doesn't know him. And he hates her.

"That would have been an option if you remained dead, but you resurrected yourself. Now that is no longer an option for me, and I have no choice because I am stuck with you."

Elsa narrowed her eyes in confusion.

"Someone is forcing you to marry me?"

Jeremy rolled his eyes. "Have you gotten amnesia or just turned stupid?... Weren't you the one who planned this whole thing to get me to marry you?" He raised his voice, making Elsa take a step back from him. She did not want him yelling at her. But he took one step forward in response.

"Weren't you the one, Gwen?... Who just had to attach yourself to me in such a way that if I didn't marry you, my family's reputation would go down the drain?"

"But... Weren't you marrying Victoria?"

"Only because you were supposed to be dead... But you aren't now, are you?" His voice carried so much bad emotion.

So much so that Elsa found herself asking, "Do you hate me?"

"You have no idea how much... You are a shameless woman who just plots and schemes until you get your own way... You are a little she-devil." Those words hurt her feelings so much that she just looked down and didn't respond to them.
