Y/N POV

Fucking cold...

It's past midnight already and I found myself walking towards my home, I'm not far but not really close either, it's crazy how sometimes at this hour the streets are so desolated.

After walking for some time I couldn't help but remember the conversation I had with tombstone...

My legs feel extremely weak just remembering and I didn't realize when I started breathing so fast.

Fuck, why is this shit happening to me right now?

Tears start forming in my eyes and my vision becomes blurry.

C'mon! I was doing fine just seconds ago... What did I do wrong?

Eventually I found myself sitting on a bench as I feel the tears rolling on my cheeks, I only looked at the empty street trying to not make any noice as snow was falling from the sky...

Fucking cold...

Heh... I guess I never had the time to cry didn't I?

Pull yourself together Y/N... Sophie needs you...

I can't lose her...

I didn't even realize, but apparently the plan of not making any noice went to shit considering I'm crying right now.

Who am I kidding?

I sigh as keep wiping the tears out of my face.

I have no idea of what the fuck I'm doing...

"Y/N?"

I look at my right side looking for the source of the voice and find myself staring at Mary Jane with a big coat on and a beanie, she was also wearing gloves and was wrapping her arms over herself to have some warm.

"What are you doing outside at this hour? It's fucking freezing" She asked me with concern on her eyes.

I couldn't help but let out a hollow chuckle as I looked at the lonely street again.

"You know what Mary Jane? I think I'm getting used to the cold nowadays"

She doesn't says anything and sits besides me instead "It's MJ... That's how my friends call me"

"We are friends?" I asked, genuinely curious but still not staring at her.

Apparently she was curious about what I was staring at too since she was now looking at the street "Anyone who defends me from an idiot is good and a friend in my book"

This time I actually let out a little smile "You shouldn't trust random you know?"

She shakes her head "Nah I know when someone is an asshole"

"Oh really? Pray tell me, How do you know when someone is an asshole?"

She shrugs "Simple, I ask them. Are you an asshole?"

"Depends on the day"

She smirks "Well are you an asshole in wednesdays?"

I let out a chuckle "Nah, only on Tuesdays, and Fridays when the situation calls it"

I hear her giggling about my remark "Well, nice to know we can be friends today then"

For some minutes both of us stay in silence looking at the streets and how the snow falls, neither wanting to ask about the reason why we are here it seems.
