Kathy pov
Squirming myself to the other side I opened my eyes at a leisure pace. My eyes stiffened at the sight. Fuck! I slept in his car? This is gonna be so bashful. But my eyes landed on him. I observed him texting someone on his phone. Inquisitively I tried peeking into his phone. He titled his head towards me while I shut my eyes instantaneously.

Though I didn't completely close my eyes, they were opened quarterly. I observed him smiling while intimately looking at him. For a moment I couldn't process anything. All I knew was my heart wasn't beating normally. I felt like it could burst out any moment. Why was he smiling at me? "I know you aren't asleep anymore." Hearing him I had to open my eyes. Rather than being bashed I had to act cool. "Why didn't you wake me up?"

"I didn't realise you would be sleeping for 2 hours!" He said as my eyes widened. "What? Tw- two hou- hours!" I floured on my words. "Yeah anyways now get out of my car." He spoke as I looked befuddled. "Excuse me?" I said when he moved his head straight ahead, I looked around my surroundings. I realised we were standing right in front of my house.

I immediately got my bag from the dashboard and opened the door of the car while stepping out. I turned around and spoke, "do me a favour, don't get mad or question Jayce about this whole thing." "He never forced me for anything." "I agreed to this by myself." I blurted out immediately while expecting him to say anything.

He just blinked his eyes. "Anything else?" He said when my lips spread across. An acute smile over my face. "Thank you for dropping me home." Instantly turning around I detected his car moving ahead as he left from there and with that I stepped inside my house. Huge smile all over my face. Recalling today's event which occurred.

"So are you sure you're gonna handle this patient by yourself?" "Yeah I will." "Okay then I will ask Megan to give me the report of the patient!" Hearing that I looked at Dr Elena being a little befuddled. "Ohh okay." And with that I exited out of her office. "Shit." Why does she need to check the reports? God what if she gets to know- I was withdrawn and preoccupied with the thoughts already that I didn't realise I bumped into someone. Which nearly made me lose my balance.

The person in front of me held my shoulders instantly. I could see it was the opposite genders hand. His fingers were tightly holding onto my shoulders. I lifted my head above to look at the person. "Abriel?" I said when he looked at me "Be careful when you walk." He said while I nodded. "I never knew you would be knowing my name." He said while taking his hands away from my shoulders. "Though we studied in the same university, we rarely talked." "Still you remember my name."

"Because I have a good memory." I stated when his lips spread across his ears. "And a really pretty face too." He added on while I chuckled. "Why are you here though?" "I have joined this clinic and it's my first day as an orthopaedic." "Omg congratulations." I said while instantly giving him a friendly hug. "Thank you so much Kathy." He said as I broke the hug. "If you don't mind, Can we go for lunch right now?" "There is a Mexican restaurant near our clinic." "And I know you love Mexican food so much."

He said as I looked at him. "Yeah sure but how do you know I love Mexican food?" I raised my eyebrows. As he smiled. "Overheard a few people." "Who was it?" Curiosity took over me since I wanted to know who was so prying. "You talk too much." "Let's go, I'm really hungry and my stomach can burst any moment." He said, sounding dramatic as I nodded. After a while started ranting at me about his whole day in this new work place while we made our ways out of the clinic.

After an hour, we were walking ahead and chit chatting. "Gosh my stomach looks like a pregnant belly now." Hearing that I couldn't unsuppress and howl out loudly. "My stomach has been hurting Abriel." "I can't anymore." "I wish I could stop but I love seeing you laugh." He spoke as I desisted for a moment.
