The girls pulled up at the house and went inside. 

"So it's late and you don't mind staying do you?" Eve asked

"Yeah, we can take you home in the morning.  We have some clothes and shit for you to put on" Danny asked

"Yeah, that would be nice.  And y'all house is big and beautiful" She said looking around. 

"Thank you.  We haven't even met yet.  I'm Raven" She said

"Hi, Raven.  You beautiful" She said

"No, you beautiful.  You have a baby face" Rave said laughing

"I get that a lot," she said

"Well they asses will sure be out in the morning"

"I can't believe he blamed my dress for that fight," Raven said

"What? "

"Yes.  I got so mad.  That's why I walked away. " She said

"His temper is horrible"

"Very horrible.  And I get that he didn't have a female figure in his life so he never was taught how to treat women.  But damn" Danny said

"He never talked about his family to me.  So his mother what happened to her? "

"She left him when he was 10. He grew up around nothing but drug dealers and strippers. " Danny said

Raven never knew.  Now he feels bad.  Cause she thought he knew how to treat women he just never wanted to.  

"Well, I'm about to shower and call it one," Raven said "Heather there are some blankets in the closet ill bring you something fresh to put on. " Raven said

The next morning

Steven was the first one to get out waiting on Kam,  Quan, and Marco.  Kam walks out.

"Yo.  Can't believe the night we had" He said coming up to the car

"That nigga Marco can't control that temper," Steven said seeing Marco and Quan come out together

"And this nigga still fresh out the hospital and shit," Steven said laughing

"Fuck is funny," Quan asked

"Yo cripple ass shouldn't of jump in," Steven said

They all get in the car and go to Marco and Steve's crib getting their shit packed up. 

"They better be ready to," Marco said

"Bro you good? " Steven asked

"Man.  Just been thinking about my moms and shit," Marco said

"Aye you know I'm here if you ever want to talk,"

"Still don't know where this lady at. " Marco said

"We can find out if it's that important to you"

"Yeah it is bro," Marco said shaking up Steven. 

7 am

Raven pops up looking at the clock.  "Fuck. I said 6" she said to herself getting out ned going to wake the girls up.  The doorbell rings.  Raven comes down looking through the peephole seeing it's the boys.  She unlocks it seeing the ain't even ready. 

"But you said be ready," Steven said walking in

Raven laughs letting them in.  She sees Marco still in the car.  "What's wrong with him? " Raven asked

"A lot on his mind.  He ain't say shit really since he came out the jailhouse" Kam said

Raven walks outside shuts the door and walks to the car.  She opens the door and sees him smoking a blunt.  "What's wrong?"

"Nothing," He said hitting the blunt. 

Raven folds her arms standing there looking at him. Marco looks at her then away still lot saying nothing.

"You gone come inside? " she asked

"Nah I'm good.  Don't seem like you ready anyways" He said being smart. 

"Okay," She said walking away.

Marco didn't stop her this time just let her go inside.  Which pissed her off even more.  She slams the door and walks up the steps. 

"You good? " Eve asked

"Yep.  Just fine" She said going up the steps to get a room packing.

30 minutes later Raven comes down with her suitcase.  Everybody was packing their stuff in the car.  Kam came and helped Raven seeing she had a lot of stuff. 

"Damn, what all you bringing the whole house? " Kam said laughing

Marco walks in and sees Kam picking up Raven's suitcase.

"No, I'm not packing the whole house," She said laughing.

Marco walks over to them grabbing the suitcase from Kam. "I got it, bro," He said looking at Raven. 

Raven walks past him going to the car.  "Ladies riding with me.  I'm not being in the car with them" Raven said

Marco puts her suitcase in her trunk seeing her coming to close it.  He grabs her waist pulling her towards him.  "I'm sorry," He said taking a deep breath "A lot on my mind"

"Then talk to me," she said

"I don't know how," He said looking at her

"What is it that got you feeling this way"

"Thinking about my folks and shit"

"Are they in jail? "

"Nah my father out here still doing him. And my mother no where to be found" He said "But look right now it's about you and your situation.  I just wanted to say sorry for treating you horribly," he said kissing her forehead. 

"Just trying to understand you," she said rubbing his face.  "It's hard as fuck" she said smiling.

He smiles "I'm sorry," he said

"Y'all ready?  Damn! " Eve said

"Yeah," Raven said "Give me a kiss," she said

Marco kissed her three times before walking away.  They get in the car and hit the road to Gary Indiana.
