The late afternoon sunlight streamed through the windows of Aurora's cozy living room as she anxiously awaited the arrival of her friends. She fidgeted with the hem of her sweater, her heart pounding with nervous anticipation.

Moments later, the doorbell rang, and Aurora practically leaped off the couch to answer it.

"Hey, guys!" Aurora greeted, her voice tinged with excitement as she ushered Amelia and Alice inside.

Amelia and Alice exchanged knowing glances as they stepped into the familiar surroundings of Aurora's home, their smiles wide and mischievous. "Hey, Aurora," Amelia chimed in, her eyes twinkling with curiosity. "What's the emergency I brought candy chips what's up !"

Aurora took a deep breath, . "Okay, you guys," she began, her voice trembling with excitement. "I have something to tell you."

Amelia and Alice exchanged amused glances, their smiles growing wider with anticipation. "We're all ears," Alice encouraged, her tone filled with playful curiosity.

Aurora hesitated for a moment before blurting out, "I have a crush on Walker."

Amelia and Alice's eyes widened in mock surprise, though they couldn't hide the knowing glances they exchanged. "We knew it!" Amelia exclaimed, her excitement palpable as she jumped up and down with glee.

Alice grinned from ear to ear, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "We've been waiting for you to admit it," she teased, her tone lighthearted and playful.

Aurora felt a surge of relief wash over her as she shared her secret with her friends, their reactions easing her nerves and filling her with a sense of camaraderie.

"So, spill it, Aurora," Amelia urged, her curiosity piqued. "Since when have you had this crush on Walker?"

Aurora shrugged, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment. "I'm not sure, to be honest," she admitted, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "It's just... I don't know. I guess it's been building for a while now I feel like it's always been there but I realized it on the podcast talking about crushes and what I see in a guy "

Amelia grinned mischievously, her eyes dancing with amusement. "Well, you're not alone," she confessed, her tone filled with playful excitement. "I have a crush on Romeo."

Aurora's eyes widened in surprise, though she couldn't help but smile at her friend's admission. "Romeo?" she repeated, her voice filled with incredulity. "Our best friend!"

Amelia shrugged nonchalantly, a shy smile playing at her lips. "Yes him !" she admitted, her cheeks flushing pink with embarrassment. "But there's just something about him, you know? And besides you can't blame me for liking Romeo when you like Walker "

Aurora couldn't help but laugh at her friend's confession, her heart swelling with affection for the girl who had become like a sister to her. "Well, I won't  blame you for liking Romeo," she teased, her tone playful and light-hearted. "I saw it coming a mile away."

As Aurora and Amelia shared a laugh, Alice's phone chimed with a text message, drawing her attention away from the conversation. She glanced down at her screen, a smile spreading across her face as she read the message. "Looks like someone's got a secret admirer," she teased, her eyes twinkling with mischief as she looked up at her friends.
