Noor's POV:

'Ya Allah please save me...please I will die....'

My heart was throbbing through my rib cage. His nearness made me all numb. I was just crying loudly. He wanted to disgrace me. There was no one to save me, but my Lord!

'Ya Allah don't let him do wrong with me as I m weak enough can't defend myself..'

The uncontrollable tide of tears was streaming down. I felt the Beast detaching my veil off my body.

"Stop!"

After a loud squeal, I was feeling dead.

"No!"

I cried when I felt my veil is being taken off...

But...

He slowly placed my veil on my back.

He didn't touch me. He left me.

'Did he—did he leave me to remain pure?

'Really'

'Am I safe?'

'Ya, Allah!'

Every fiber of my body was thanking Allah.

The thinking of being disgraced is so painful. Once a boy tried to snatch my hijab when I was just coming home all alone from college. That incident made me so scared of boys and going alone anywhere.

And now I am alone with a stranger, who is none other than a Beast. A kidnapper.
How could I expect decency from him?

I was just crying about my fate, what is going to come next?
But at least, he didn't snatch my dignity.

Tears were bleeding out and I shuddered involuntarily.

Yes, it's a grace for which a girl can die. It's a precious Pearl of any girl–which every girl should keep sacred, pure just for her Mr. Right!

"Woman, calm down I'm doing nothing to you."
He spoke in a very calm voice, breaking my wave of thoughts.

I wasn't believing in my hearing. It was like his magical words that muted my cries at once.

'Am I dreaming?'

My sobs were going on...

"Listen! Now keep quiet I'm doing nothing with you. You are safe here. Got it?!"

He gripped my arm very softly and turned me towards him. I was numb, seriously numb. It was like a dream. Not Nightmare!

"Come here, sit."

He made me sit on the mattress. His voice was so gentle.

I just sat and curled up myself and dug my chin over my knees.

He was standing tall there.

I was literally in shock, just like a survivor of a deadly accident, who faced death very closely...

I was just sobbing...

"Can I ask you one thing?"

He was asking about something, I didn't get.

He repeated the same question.

I saw he was asking about the food...

"What is this?" He asked.

"Rice!"

I replied by looking in the direction where he was pointing.

"I'm not blind, I can see better than you...."Rice!"
