Chapter 17: Elena Always Survives

Jennifer P.O.V

I wake up in my room on my bed with the covers over me.

"What the-"

Everything comes flooding back to me. The pain in my heart. Elijah betraded us. Damon got bit. Stefan had to go with Klaus for the cure.

Klaus's blood is the cure. Elijah is daggered I am guessing considering everytime he is I feel it. Jenna is dead. John is dead.

I did go to Jenna and John's funeral but I don't want to think about that right now. We need to find Stefan. I walk out of my room. I see Elena. Ugh. I look at my hand and see it is starting to turn light grey. Yup Elijah is daggered. I walk pass Elena.

"What is wrong with you?"

"None of your business Elena"

"It is my business. You are acting selfish"

I turn my head to face Elena

"You think I am the one being selfish? If you just listen to me then Jenna would still be alive, John would still be alive, Stefan would be here, Mom and Dad would still be alive"

"How is mom and dad being dead my fault?"

"If you just walked home with me they would have never been there. If you didn't go to the party-"

"You went to the party too"

"Yeah because you asked me to go with you"

I walked out the door.

Elena had the nerve to say that to me. If she just walked home with me mom and dad would have never went to pick her up. Mom and dad would have never been on wickery bridge. If I stopped Elena from going to the party or if I-"

I look up and realize I am not at the Grill or the Salvatore boardinghouse. Not at the school. Not at our house. Where am I? I was at a mansion.
