Shane and Doreen arrive in Doreen's collection. Doreen puts on the amulet and clutches onto it. "Let's see if I remember how to do this correctly, you might want to back up..." She closed her eyes and started muttering something in french over and over again. Shane phases into a wall, waiting for an amazing spectacle. She turned completely white and then the room was filled by the white light when it died down, Doreen looked normal, except, slightly stronger, more agile, and in general, looked like she had more energy. Shane phases out of the wall. "Holy moly," he says. "Talk about an instant workout!" Doreen looked to one of the voodoo dolls and it levitated off the table. She didn't even have to move a muscle. She smiled as she willed it back down. Shane stares in awe. "I'm back baby!" she said. She turned to Shane to say something, but immediately, her eyes went completely white and her body collapsed. "Doreen!" Shane rushes over to Doreen. "What the...?" She came back, just as fast as she went. "When I say leave me alone, sister, I mean it!" Doreen shouted up into the air.  Shane grits his teeth. "Maleficent." "She knows I have my powers back, and I can't tell if she is happy or not," Doreen explained. "Well, we'd better do something before she does," Shane says. Doreen nodded. She went over to a small mirror and picked it up and was about to put her hand on it and hesitated. She just stared biting her tongue. "I haven't gone back in years. I haven't talked to my parents in years. I was a teenager when I left, only sixteen..."  Shane rests a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry. I'm here," he says, smiling. Doreen took a breath and placed her hand on it. "Take me home, take me back. Where my bloodline is, where I belong. Hear my call, feel my magic, feel my touch. Not a mirror but a gateway! I, Princess Doreen of Oqira Dimension, command you! Bring me back home!" Doreen says, slowly getting louder until she was yelling. The mirror turned a dark green. She quickly turned it around and faced it to an empty wall. A green portal appeared near the wall. Doreen put the mirror in her pocket. "Whoa." Shane, amazed and afraid of what could be beyond the portal, puts on his mask. "Where does that go?" "To my home..." Doreen says staring at it. Before looking to the sky, "SHUT UP SISTER!" Shane stifles a laugh. "Not gonna lie, the thought of seeing a casual Maleficent is a bit unsettling," he says. "Try living with her for sixteen years and then three more years in the Soul Realm, not mentioning all the visits when I was alive we came here," Doreen said. Taking a deep breath she went up to the portal. "Stay close and behind me," she said as she entered the portal. Shane nods and follows Doreen.

The world was covered in dark colors, most black and a dark grey ash color. Not too far away was a huge black and green castle that the top tower touched the dark stormy clouds. There were no plants other than blackthorns, like the ones Maleficent trapped Princess Aurora's kingdom in all so long ago. There were citizens walking, they wore black, or dark grey with another dark color that signified their magic color. The magic color was the color made when using their magic, it travels through bloodline and the males color changed when they marry. It changes to whatever the females color is. Doreen's outfit had changed into a dark green and black dress, a matching crown laid on top of her head and two large black wings had appeared on her back. "Welcome, to my home," she said. "Well, I sure am glad that my clothes are this way," says Shane. "I should fit in well." "Follow me, you are about to meet Adri's grandparents, just don't say anything unless I tell you, you can." Doreen led Shane to the castle. When they entered, every guard looked to her. Every maid, butler, and slave stopped what they were doing and stared. There was an absolute silence. "I am here to see my parents. Where are they?" Doreen asked. "I-I-In the thr-thro-throne room your majesty..." a slave girl stuttered. Shane rolls his eyes. "Of course they'd have slaves here," he thinks to himself. Doreen went to the throne room doors, took a breath and opened them. There was a meeting going on. Everyone silenced and stared, the king and queen on their thrones. "Mother, Father, I'm back," Doreen said. Her parents stood up and dismissed everyone. The king and queen stared at Doreen in silence. "The day that Queen Ashera and King Kirnon become speechless, never thought I'd see the day," Dorleen muttered. Queen Ashera had one a fancier green and black dress, while Kirnon wore a black and green suit. The family color. Recognizing the royalty he's in the company of, Shane takes a bow. "I see the boy you brought with you has more manners than you Demonia," King Kirnon says. "Don't call me that. I am sure Maleficent informed you of my name change. It's Doreen now. And with I will be proper with you when I respect you again if that ever happens," Doreen said crossing her arms. "Do not speak to us in such a manner! Not only are we your parents but we are your king and queen!" Queen Ashera said angrily. "I haven't lived here in years. I don't count myself as part of this kingdom anymore." "Dang. Straight up disowned her own parents," Shane thinks to himself. "Demonia..." King Kirnon started. "Doreen," Doreen interrupted. "You are part of this kingdom whether you like it or not!" "Oh, but Maleficent gets to go out and rule another world, which I will point out, she failed at," Doreen said rolling her eyes. "Your sister was exiled for good reasons," Queen Ashera said. "Yes, yes, she killed Veronika to take her spot as heir but then you decided to banish her and make me an heir. Then I ran away, trust me mother, I know my sister's and my story." Doreen sighed. "Well, it seems Maleficent would have made a better heir anyways." "I told you that! But now she is stuck in the Soul Realm and she is much happier running that dimension if ever she gets free." Shane places his cane behind his head and stretches. "Who did you bring with you?" her father asked. "Oh, right, introductions. Mother, Father, meet Shane Facilier, of whatever the dimension I've been in is called, son of Dr. Facilier and I don't actually know his mother's name. Shane, meet Queen Ashera of the Oqira Dimension, home of the Dark Fairy Witches, daughter of the old Duke Gotham and old Duchess Lilith, also known as Maleficent's and my mother. And King Kirnon of the Oqira Dimension, home of the Dark Fairy Witches, son of the old King Mazus and old Queen Sabre, also known as Maleficent's and my father. My father was a prince and married my mother who was a duchess. Duke's and Duchesses, along with Lords and Ladies, are part of the council that rules our dimension though the king and queen have the final say," Doreen explained. Shane removes his cap and bows again. "I am Shane Facilier, son of Dr. Facilier and Verity Facilier, maiden name, Horvath. We are all from the Human Dimension. My father was known as a con man with voodoo abilities and married a simple woman with significantly weaker abilities. Unfortunately, my father became corrupt and turned evil. My mom left while she was pregnant with me, so I never really got to know my father. I moved to New Orleans before I turned eighteen. That was when I had my first encounter with my father and got my voodoo abilities. He and I constantly clashed, until I killed him," Shane explains, getting more and more poignant as he continues. "Basically humans are weird," Doreen said. "Yet you married one," Kirnon said. "Here we go with this argument again," Doreen muttered. "You are a Dark Fairy Witch! The laws are clear! You marry another Dark Fairy Witch that your parents agree on and is in the same social class as you!" Ashera said angrily. "I am princess the only ones in the same social class are you guys and Maleficent! I'd say Veronika but she is dead!" "A princess marries a duke or a lord! You know that Demonia!" "That isn't my name! And I get you disagree with me marrying Iven a mortal human. There are times I regret it too! I am sure my sister has kept you quite informed about my situation! But I never wanted to marry some stuck up snob! And I certainly never wanted to be queen! I still don't!" Shane's mind starts racing. "Just like how Clara was arranged to marry Iven. Oh, gross! Frollo was gonna have her marry a widow? Geez, dude. You really are twisted." Shane perishes the thought. "Wait what?! Oh, Iven and I have some talking to do after this," Doreen growled. "Enough! It is obvious you did not come back to accept your fate Demonia, so why did you return?" Queen Ashera asked. "First of all, it's Doreen for the millionth time. Do-reen! Not that hard to remember! Not De-mon-i-a! And second of all, I know Maleficent sent her son, Markus, here ten years ago to give you my daughter's magic, I came to retrieve it. And since we are on the subject, I am curious, who is Markus' father because if he is a hybrid like my daughter I should not be the only one in trouble." Shane raises an eyebrow in curiosity. "His father is a Lord. Maleficent sent word on how she had taken over that dimension and needed an heir. Markus' father returned here after he was conceived. As far as your daughter's magic..." Queen Ashera explained. She turned to a young slave, couldn't be only than thirteen, "You! Go fetch my daughter's child's magic!" "Yes your highness..." the slave girl whimpered, running off. Shane raises his hand, asking permission to speak. Doreen glanced at him, sighed and nodded. "Slaves, huh? That's how you do things in this dimension? You make the weaker ones do all the dirty work while you sit back in leisure?" Shane scolds. "You did hear me say we are the DARK Fairy Witches right? The Light Fairy Witches, dimension next to us. The Eqir dimension," Doreen said. "Doesn't the Human Dimension have slaves as well?" King Kirnon asked, venom in his voice. "For a short period of time. And only a small amount of people," says Shane. "But eventually, they got their freedom. By revolution. All it takes is one person to rise up and take a stand." "It's a good thing that they are mostly under our hypnosis powers then," King Kirnon says. "Oh yeah, I forgot I had that power! I haven't used it since I was fourteen! I really hope being half-mortal keeps Adri from getting those. They are the hardest to learn how to use and control. I remember when Markus was learning. That was fun," Doreen said. Shane scowls until he notices the slave girl returning. She had in her hand, a small glass vial with a glowing green gas like material. It wasn't as dark as the other colors here. "Hey, being mortal made he power color lighter, that's a plus," Doreen says. The girl, shaking some, gave the vial to the king and scurried off in a hurry. Shane attempts to call out to the girl, but hesitates. "Give me her magic father," Doreen said. "You have no authority over me or your mother Demonia.." "DOREEN! HOW HARD IS IT TO REMEMBER?! JUST GIVE ME MY DAUGHTER'S MAGIC!" Shane looks in the direction that the slave girl ran. "She supposed to be living her life, not stuck in shackles," he whispers to himself. "Why would we give you something that would make you leave again?" Ashera asked. "By the name of my sister, Veronika just let me have my daughter's magic already!" Shane scowls at Ashera and Kirnon. Doreen's parents looked at each other and back to Doreen. "We will give you her magic, but if we do, we get to meet her." "What do you plan on doing to her?" Shane asks. "It is bad that we want to meet our granddaughter?" Ashera asked. "When she is half-mortal and a good bunch of the slaves here are mortal, not to mention your hatred to mortals. So yes mother, it's bad," Doreen said stiffly. "And you can't blame me for being suspicious," says Shane. "In my past experiences, villain elders will do anything to keep the youth on the path of evil." "You're not meeting Adrianna. She already had an abusive father and me as a mother. She doesn't need to meet you guys," Doreen said. "Then she doesn't have to have her magic," Kirnon said. Doreen muttered something frustrated. "Look, even if I said yes, it's not my choice. It's her adopted parent's choice. On a scale of one to ten, Shane, what are the chances they will say yes?"Shane folds his arms. "Well, they don't like you, so the chances that they'll let them see her? Negative hundred," he says. "Exactly, not that I like them either but hey, maybe that will bound me and IVen back together. Our dislike of Clara," Doreen said. "If you want her mafic, pull some strings. You have your magic, use it!" Kirnon said. "Y'know, you two are so annoying," says Shane. "Just give us the magic, and we'll be on our way." "That's the problem, Shane, they don't want me to leave and you? Eh, they'd make you a slave. If they got it their way, neither of us would leave," Doreen sighed. Shane throws his head back in laughter. His voice echoes. "And what exactly is 'their way', because I'm not gonna be their slave. I'd raise hell!" "Hypnosis is a powerful thing. But I'm tired of this. I tried reasoning and now I am just doing this," Doreen said. She snapped her fingers and the vial appeared in her hand. "Oh, how I love being powerful in magic." Shane smirks. "Now, let's get out of here!" Doreen took out the mirror, said su=omethings under her breath and the portal opened. By now, her parents were standing again. "Mother, father, I'd say it's been fun but I'd be lying." Shane bows again, this time in a mocking manner. "See ya, suckers!" he says.
