Il Mun and i tumbled right into the middle of the battle,and we started fighting immediately
But even with Il Muns swordsmanship and Jade's lethal weapons i knew we couldn't defeat the prime minister's and the Queen's family's army alone.
I knew what i had to do,i had to get the yeoujji. "Il Mun cover for me!"i yelled to Il Mun,he nodded and i started making my way over to where Jade was.
I had almost gotten there when i felt an excruciating pain in my chest. I looked down to see a sword potruding out of my chest
I wanted to call out to Jade but only blood bubbled out of my mouth. I fell to my knees as my vision got hazy and my eyes started to close of their own volition.
I heard Il Mun shouting my name as if from a distance. Was this my destiny? To die without accomplishing anything? Had i been to presumptuous in assuming that i could change my destiny after all Jade had said?.
Il Mun had seen the soldier and had tried to protect the King but was unable to do so as he had been surrounded at the moment.
Jade had not been aware of the young king making his way over to where she was so she had not seen the king fall until she heard Il Muns roar of pain over the sound of her guns
She whirled around to see a terrible sight,Munnu on his knees blood pouring out of his mouth,reaching out to her. She froze and her guns fell to the ground.
And once more she was the little girl in the house in New York watching as her parents were cut down. She gasped and tears rolled out of her eyes,she heard someone calling her name repeatedly
It became louder and more insistent and this snapped her out of memories. It was Il Mun who was kneeling beside the fallen King
She raced to their side and held his other hand "Jade,we found the yeoujji we have to use it to save him" Il Mun said to her "but where is it?" She asked. "Its in you"
She was stunned and was about to say how ridiculous that claim was when she started to have flashbacks. The smooth crystal she had found as a child,the object sinking into her arm
Her being here,everything became clear and she asked Il Mun "but how do i get it out and give it to him?" As she spoke Munnu lifted his hand slowly
Jade and Il Mun watched as Munnu placed his hand on her chest and then a bluish white light started to glow and the orb came out of Jade's chest.
Jade and Il Mun got up and took a step back as the light became brighter. The crown princess came out of the tent and gasped at the sight
The enemy soldiers began to murmur and fidget among themselves. The sword worked out its way out of the kings chest and the wound healed instantly.
The King got up and and the blue light shone brighter than ever,

the aura forming a huge dragon shape that could be seen all over the Kingdom and the sun darkened as if an eclipse had occured

and everyone around had to sheild themselves from the brightness
Excitedly people flocked out of their homes to see the glorious sight,and at the palace the Queen and the prime minister and officials stood,looking at the sight. Most of the officials were terrified and as they knew what it meant
But those on the Kings side were overjoyed to see the king come into his power. But the prime minister and the Queen was not ready to give up.
Meanwhile at the camp,everyone fell to their knees and bowed saying "All hail his Majesty!!! All hail the Dragon King!!!"
And when the light went down the one of the kings eye remained the color of his aura. Seeing all this the prime minister and the Queens family's army surrendered
The King turned to his family with a smile,Hye Jin was shedding tears of joy,Jade too was smiling through her tears,and even the stoic prince Il Mun was smiling widely as tears too rolled down his cheeks
"We did it,we succeeded!" Il Mun said and Hye Jin tearfully replied "i'm soo happy right now,i thought this day would never come" "i could never have succeeded without you guys,thank you so much for everything"
"Awwww group hug everyone" Jade said and they all laughed and hugged one another "Guys news must have gotten to our enemies we need to leave" Il Mun said
They all decided to leave for the palace right away and use the element of surprise to defeat the traitors.
And by the time they got to the palace,all the Royal Guards and the generals army awaited them,not to welcome them but to wage war.
Munnu got out of the carriage and walked to the the front of the waiting army at the sight of of his eyes there was a hush and the guards looked at one another anxiously
"Guards!!! Surrender and i will spare your life,but if you defy me and stand with traitors you will meet your end along with them!!"
The soldiers started to lower their weapons and bow until they had all done so and on seeing this some of the officials tried to flee but the young King ordered the soldiers to seize them
(Hours later)
The Munnu,Il Mun dressed up in their royal attire and went to the the execution. It was to be public in front of the people
Munnu stepped up to the traitors who were lined up and spoke to the people "before you are the traitors who murdered the previous King and Queen" and collective gasps and whispers of shock rippled through the crowd
"They have also tried to assassinate me on several occasions,they have also commited a host of several other crimes and today we will rid Silla of these scum"
He turned and nodded to the executioner who bowed and commenced.
