It has been three years now since the yeoujji orb returned to King Munnu and he became the Dragon King,just as the prophecy had foretold
And the King had spent the past three years fulfilling his dreams of unifying the three kingdoms with Hye Jin, Il Mun and Jade by his side.
He worked hard to develop his powers to the benefit of his people and there were some difficult times,when he forbade anyone from coming near him out of fear that he would harm them for almost half the year but he eventually managed to control his powers well.
The King became known far and wide and many other kingdoms came to pay tributes to him,and those that tried to wage war against him were sorely defeated.
The Kingdom was peaceful and prosperous and the palace which had previously been a dangerous place that the King longed to escape from,was now a peaceful home.
King Munnu's POV
I smiled as i made my way through the ever moving crowd,it had been just three years but i could already see the positive changes in the land and the sight never failed to make my heart glad.
A trader called out loudly "Pretty jeweled tassels for the lady!!" And i stopped to look at them "how much for one?" I asked the trader,reaching for my money until i recalled that i had no money on me
Disappointed i turned away but stoped when i heard a voice behind me say "need this??" I turned around and saw a disguised Il Mun holding out some change
I grinned sheepishly and took the money from him "how did you find me??" He smirked "I've spent most of my life searching and looking out for you,so it wasn't that difficult"
I rolled my eyes,and bought the tassel i had picked out for Hye Jin before "you should get one for Jade too" i suggested and Il Mun agreed and bought one
"Lets all have some wine together today,its been a while since we did that and we can give it to them then" He said "oh thats a good idea,lets do that" i said and we were on our way to the palace when horses thundered past
I glanced at the riders colors and a chill ran down my spine. Il Mun and i glanced at each other and i could tell he was thinking the same thing
We moved back into a secluded corner and i opened a portal that took us straight to my chambers where Jade was pacing back and forth
As soon as she saw us she ran over "Munnu!! Il Mun!! The Tang Emperors envoy is here" she said, frown lines creasing her forehead
"We know, we saw them,i'll go get ready".
(At the throne room)
A collective gasp of outrage resounded in the room but the King raised his hand and silence fell.
The King leaned back in his chair,his expression stony "Are you threatening me envoy?" The envoy lifted his nose into the air haughtily "if you refuse to comply,then war is the only option"
The King clenched his fist and his eye glowed
