GOODBYE

Il Mun ran towards her as the horse crashed down on her,while Munnu used his powers to kill the Tang soldier that had fired the arrow and lift the horse away from Jade before running to her side.

Il Mun cradled her in his arms tears already falling from his eyes,she was unconscious and bleeding from the head. Il Mun lifted her in his arms and Munnu opened a portal that would take them to camp.

On getting to the camp Munnu called loudly for the physicians and Il Mun brought her to a bed and laid her down.

The Physicians rushed in and looked her over while Il Mun and Munnu stood watching, " how is she ??will she be alright??" Il Mun asked worriedly

The poor Physician looked harassed and turned pleading eyes to the King "Your Majesty,please i will need peace and quiet to proceed,please could you wait outside"

Munnu sighed and turned to Il Mun "let's give the man some privacy to do his work" Outside they both waited pensively for any news from the physician.

Il Mun's POV

Regret choked me,"if onlys" echoed in my mind. Seeing her lying still,bleeding on the ground had nearly killed me. And even now i couldn't get the image out of my mind.

My mind wandered to the first time i saw her,standing behind Munnu in that scandalous outfit that still made me blush

Memories of her flooded my mind and i remembered the way she had laughed when i found out i had been holding her underwear,the second day she was here,

Or when she was teaching me how to use her weapon but all i could think of was how beautiful her skin looked in the sunlight

And when i misfired i didn't mind losing because then i got to see her laugh,i remembered our first kiss,and how beautiful she had looked on our wedding day

I remembered how cute she had looked when i teased her on our wedding night and now with everything in me i regretted every moment that passed by that i didn't tell her i loved her.

King Munnu's POV

I couldn't bear it if anything happened to Jade,she wasn't just my family,her presence in my life had given me hope,and a second chance at life.

Without her i couldn't have found the yeoujji,gotten my kingdom back,i wouldn't have found out the truth about Hye Jin and forgiven her,i wouldn't have  succeeded and fulfilled my dreams

But regret weighed me down,it was my fault that she lay in danger now,if only i hadn't been so selfish in keeping her by my side,making her fight a war when she had done so much already

She wouldn't be this way now. I could only hope that she got well so i could rectify my mistakes.

Just then the Physician came out of the tent and Il Mun rushed to the man eagerly "how is she??how bad is her injury??" The man hung his head and chills ran down my spine at his expression

"Your Majesty,Your Highness i did all i could but Her Highness is in a coma,and even if she wakes up there is a possibility that she may never walk again"

Il Mun went pale and looked as if he had been run through with sword,and even i could feel the tears running down my face. Jade might not wake up again and even if she did she wouldn't be able to walk?

She didn't deserve this,it was all my fault. I shouldnt have been selfish. Il Mun woodenly made his way back  into the tent and i stayed outside thinking

I couldn't subject her to life like that,she had sacrificed so much already i just couldn't let her live like this,i knew what i had to do.

I entered the tent to break the news to
Il Mun. "We have to send her back to her own time" he looked up at me stricken and my heart twisted in grief

I could imagine the pain he was going through right now seeing the woman he loved like this and he had to lose her too

But he nodded and kissed her and stepped back slowly to stand beside me i held his hand tightly and created the worm hole that would take her back in time

"Good bye Jade".

Queen Hye Jin's POV

I waited pensively for them to enter the palace. The war had been won but i couldn't relax until i saw my family safe and unhurt with my own eyes.

"Oh Your Royal Highness,here they come!" My handmaiden said excitedly. I whirled around,sighing in releif when i saw His Majesty ride in uninjured.

But the  i noticed the sorrowful expression on his face and my smike faltered. Il Mun looked as pale as ghost and his eyes were red,he looked half dead! Wait where was Jade?

They dismounted and Il Mun staggered away and i turned to servants behind me " go attend to  his Highness,Prince Il Mun immediately"

"Yes your majesty" they said bowing before hurrying after the Prince. I turned back to His Majesty who stood before me "Wh..where is Jade?" I asked

"She got badly hurt and i had to send her back"  i gasped and tears fell from my eyes "oh no,Prince Il Mun-"  "is hurting a lot right now,this is all my fault Hye Jin,i should have sent her back earlier"

"No its not,we didn't want to lose her but we lost her anyway"
I led him to our chambers so he could bath and rest. Oh Jade,how are we going to live without you?

Jade's POV

I staggered to my feet,holding the van for support,what the heck just happened? Did i faint?Nevermind that i was fine now so i hopped in the van and drove to our base,i had a mission to finish.
