2 weeks later

Berlin slowly fell asleep or that's how it feels.. wrote Heiko in his diary. It has been a few days since the virus entered Germany and what a chaos and a calmness can this virus create.

the first days, everyone went crazy..
hoarding food, toilet paper and necessary things. then.. Everything went to sleep. Like the fairytale of sleeping beauty. But there wasn't a princess waiting for her prince to wake her, this was reality. Everything got closed and people stayed inside. A horrible time for some and yet an amazing time for others. It's an opportunity to be with your close ones without being disturbed by work or "important" things.

Heiko had met up with richi a few days prior. They made plans to stay in the same house with some other friends and the family. They would stay at richi his house since this was the biggest house. Everyone who would stay with them brought the necessary things. From food, toiletpaper to boardgames.

there would also be some children staying with them so Heiko and Richi made sure they also had stuff to do for the children. Since children get bored so fast. They prepared for almost a week and now was the time they would really go into "quarantine".

~Quarantine day 1~
Everyone gathered at richi his house. Some of the children were too young to fully understand what was going on, so they were continuously asking what they were doing at Richi his house.

Heiko said: "we are going to have an indoor camping trip".
"But where is the tent?" Asked one of the kids.
"good point little one.." said Heiko.
"We can build our own tent!"

The kids were all super excited about the idea of building their own tent. Heiko took a lot of blankets and pillows and put them in the living-room.

"So! Where do we start?!" He said to the kids.

They all came running at the blankets and started designing their tent. Their imagination went crazy and they wanted to use everything for their tent. Heiko let the kids go wild and let them do whatever they wanted. Meanwhile he went to drink some coffee.

"NOT THE COUCH!" He heard out of nowhere.

He walked from the kitchen into the living room and saw richi with an annoyed facial expression.

"HEIKO.... "
"Ja JA... Not the couch! We need to be able to sit".

Heiko walked over to the kids and helped them to move the tent underneath the staircase, that was in the middle of the living-room. Ones they were finished the children played the whole day in the tent.

"That was a great idea" said richi to Heiko.
"What?"
"Building a tent! This was 1 day without annoying kids" he said with a grin.
"They are never annoying" said Heiko.
"Wait till they want candy" responded richi.
Heiko shook his head and walked towards the tent.

"Can I stay with you all for while? You are much more fun as the "adults" he said.

The kids laughed and were excited for Heiko to stay in the tent with them for a while. In the evening, when it was bed time for the kids, they asked If they could sleep in the tent.
"No.. you need to sleep in your bed" said richi.
"But it's a camping trip! Pleasseee"
richi sighted and agreed.

Later that night when the adults also went to bed they wished the kids good night and went to their rooms.
Around 3 am woke the youngest one. the youngest one walked into Heiko his room.

"Heiko.. I can't sleep"
"what's wrong?"
"I can't sleep.."
"how come?" Heiko asked with a sleepy voice.
"there are scary monsters"
Heiko smiled. "there are no monsters sweetheart.."
"Can you come stay in the tent with us?"
