Dear Diary

A moment of peace..

Heiko opens his eyes. He is laying in bed, now staring at the ceiling. He thinks back on what has happened the past days. They had been busy.. and now he had nothing planned. He took a breath and turned over to his left side. He now looked at Richi, who was sleeping. He moved a bit closer and put his head against Richi his back. Richi had woken up and put his hand on the back of Heiko his head, softly stroking trough his hair.

"What are you thinking about?" Asked Richi.
"Nothing.. why?"
"You are laying awake. That means you are thinking about something."
"Just trouble falling asleep.."
"Oke.."

They were laying in bed without saying anything for a few minutes, until Richi had fallen asleep again. Heiko carefully moved Richi his arm away from his head and got out of bed. He put on jogging pants, a hoodie and some socks. He walked downstairs and sat down on the couch. He sat there for a while thinking of what to do. He usually would walk with Nila when he couldn't sleep but she wasn't with him now.. he stood up, walked to the tv cabinet and took out a PS4 controller. He hadn't played in a while and he felt excited to play something again. He looked trough the different game options..
The last of us.. over cooked.. outlast.. little big planet.. odyssey.. Red dead redemption.. a way out.. GTA... COD..

Before he could pick a game, he got a notification pop up in the start screen. "Mr.ALBTRAUM is playing COD.. Join him now" I guess I will play that! Thought Heiko to himself. He inserted the disk and started the game. Before he knew he got a request to call. He put on a headset and accepted the call.

"MR. Hiersche! What are you doing up at this time?"
"Trouble sleeping. How about you mr. Albtraum..?"
"Killing some people."
"Sounds good.."
"You coming to join my team?"
"Sure."

They started a new game a played and played some. After an hour of playing heiko heard someone coming down the stairs. He looked up.
"Hey"
"Hey.." sais Richi with a sleepy voice.
"What are you doing awake?"
"Checking in on you.."
heiko smiled. "I'm good.. playing some with Till."
"Hey Till" said richi as he sat down next to Heiko on the couch.
"Hey loser" answered Till.
"Are you coming to join us?" Asked Heiko.
"I don't know.. I do not feel like shooting people at the moment."
"Oh poor soft Richi.." said Till.
"We can play something else.. " said Heiko.
"Yes let's play some overcooked." Said Till.
"Sure"..
The 3 of them played the game for a few hours. It was a total chaos. They enjoyed it thought.
At some point Richi said:
"That's it! Time for bed.. It's alread 5 am.."
they all agreed. Richi and Heiko wished Till goodnight and turned off the ps4. Richi gave heiko a kiss on his head as he stood up. Heiko looked up at richi, and after a few seconds he walked after richi upstairs to the bedroom. They both laid down in bed again and didn't say anything for a few minutes. Then said Richi:
"Tell me, what is keeping you busy?"
"Just not feeling very well.. and I miss Nila.."
Richi pulled Heiko in for a hug.
"Your anemia again?"
Heiko mumbled: "yes"
"I'm sorry to hear.. and why didn't you say earlier you miss Nila?"
"Because you don't like her here and I respect that.."
"It's not that I don't like her here.. i know she means the world to you.."
heiko laid his head on Richi his chest. Richi strokes trough his hair.
"I will go get Nila for you. You stay here.."
Richi stood up, put on some jogging pants and gave heiko a kiss before he walked out the room.

Heiko sat himself up in bed. He grabbed his diary.

Dear diary,
Today I feel a lot worse again. My anemia is taking advantage of me.. I am feeling very dizzy and am very tired. It feels like someone could just push me over with 1 finger..
I am happy I am not alone and that richi is here to distract me a bit. I love him a lot.. he even offered to go get Nila.. because he knows she helps me a lot.
This means so much to me, because richi doesn't like animals in his house..
i hope I feel better tomorrow.. but I have a feeling I wont..

Ps. I need to get better at COD.. Till can't keep winning from me..

Heiko put down his diary and laid back down. He closed his eyes for a while and dozed off. After a few minutes he got awaken by Nila who was liking his hand. Heiko smiled and petted Nila.
"Hello there little girl! I have missed you so much.."
He held her in his arms. Nila excitingly tried to get as much attention as she could. Richi crawled back in bed.
"Thank you so much.. "
"You welcome.."
heiko gave richi a kiss. "It means the world to me.."
richi smiled at him. "Now it's bed time.. ALSO for you mrs." He said as he gave Nila a little push so she would calm down. Nila laid down on Heiko his legs. They all fell asleep.

The next morning, Heiko got woken up by Nila who jumped off the bed. He looked to his left side and saw that Richi wasn't there. He took his phone and looked at the time. 9:00. Then he looked at his messages. He only had read the first two, when he heard the door open. It was Richi.
"Oh.. you already woken up!"
"Yes!" Said Heiko with a sleepy voice.
"I made breakfast.. " said richi as he put a tray with breakfast on the left side of the bed.
Heiko smiled.
"Thank you.. but this is too much for just me.. so you have to get back in bed and eat this with me."
"With pleasure." Said richi as he crawled back in bed.
He and Heiko ate breakfast and drank some coffee. When they were done, took richi the tray and put it aside. He looked at heiko for a while.
"What?"
Richi smiled. "Nothing"
"What do you mean nothing! You looked at me with this strange look"
"Just shut up.." said richi as he kissed heiko on the mouth.
Heiko felt he started to blush but he didn't mind it.
"So.."
"So..?"
"Are we a thing now?"
"We.. could try?"
Heiko blushed.
"I would like that.. but maybe best to keep it a bit quiet.."
"I think that's best for now.."
Richi gave Heiko another kiss and held him close to him. Their moment got disturbed by a phonecall. Heiko looked over at his phone.
"This one is important.." he said as he picked up the call and walked out to the hallway..

Dear Diary..

AM I DREAMING?!
Did this just really happen?!
Richi and I are going to try it together.. I feel like I am dreaming. I never knew for sure if he liked me.. but now I feel so happy!
Please.. never let this feeling go..
