           Owens POV

Hugo didn't tell me what I wanted to hear. He kept on saying that it was nothing to worry about and that I should just focus on my studies.

So the following morning I sneaked out of the house while he was still sleeping to go and meet Sunflower.  I was sure that Hugo wouldn't wake up and follow me because of his injuries.

When I got to the shop it was open and Sunflower was putting some items on the shelves. She had no shoes on and her dress was sweeping the floor as it was too long, the number of real flowers that were clipped on it was shocking I wonder if they have a garden full of them.

“Morning” I greeted

She turned around and smiled at me “You're finally here,” She said

“You knew that I was coming?” I asked

She moved away from the shelves and walked away “Follow me” she said

Without asking any questions I followed her to the store room, or that's what it said but when we got inside it looked deeper and had no storage other than a desk and chairs only.

“Sit,” she said as she also sat down.

“What's going on” I was now feeling scared as the was this intense feeling in the room

“Oh I just wanted to sit down my legs were killing me,” She happily said as she began rubbing them

“Why don't you just wear shoes,” I asked her

“Well I mean flowers don't wear shoes and they just feel so weird,” She said as she pouts

“Where's your mother I need to talk to her” I felt creeped out by her and what does she mean by that she's a flower

“That's not my mother but my ....uh shadow. I can create anyone using my shadow and she was one of those, I got tired of police officers coming here and asking me why such a young kid was working and why I was the only one here.....so yeah,” She explained

My mouth couldn't close itself up, so Sunflower leaned over the desk and closed it for me.

“What......wh....how?” I was speechless at what she said

“You do know that humans are not the only creatures and it's not that shocking as I've heard that you have a certain thing following you,” She declared

“You mean Hugo?” I asked her

She raised her eyebrow at my question and looked like she was thinking about something

“Who is that?” She asks

“I once came with him here, you know the handsome guy,” I said

“I haven't seen you since that time I gave you that book. I had to go back to my garden for a while and I had left two of my shadows back here,”

“Oh” I whispered

So that means all this time sunflower knew nothing about Hugo, but shouldn't she know his name because he is one of her demons?

“The book that you gave me...I uh opened those.....” I explained to her about everything that had happened while she was away “... and now he doesn't want to tell me what I exactly am to him”

Sunflower brushed her shin as she thought about the answer that she was going to give to me. I could already feel the lies that she was going to deliver to me.

“I understand why he doesn't want to tell you but dam, did he have to tell you a fake name too,” she said

“Fake name?” I ask

“Yeah his name is Elijah and he's a demon and a Vampire but last time I heard that he has more of the demon Gene's than the other one. Meaning that he only needs blood after a week or 2 and if he doesn't get it then he'll start falling ill and might die,” She explained

“But I never saw him feed and he has been bleeding a lot like the incident that happened yesterday,” I said

“Yeah he is a lot of work and that's the reason why I wanted to throw that book away, but I thought that you could help him and he could also do the same for you. You both have a soul tie so you might start feeling like you're in love or some kinda connection like that,” She said

I could feel the wheel turning in my head and that gave me a headache. Why did Hugo or might I say Elijah lie to me, I'm glad that I got the answer to what I was feeling all along

“How do I cut this soul tie thing,” I asked her

She stopped spinning in her chair and looked at me shocked, “Uh... doing that might kill the other one, or worse one of you could lose their memories forever,”

“At this point, I don't care. He has been affecting my life in every direction and instead of helping me he's just making things worse,” I said

She shifted her gaze from mine and looked the other way. Her hand went to her eyes and she wiped something before turning back to me.

“I will contact you when I have full information of what you could do but you must be sure first and....”

“....You bought him into my life so you should be the one to remove him from it!  I never wanted this,  all I wanted was a solution not more poison to kill myself with. Do you have any idea how scared I was last night, I have never felt that much fear in my life” I screamed at her

“I do apologize but I thought that I was helping and how is he poison to your life?” She asks

“I don't like what I'm feeling... he makes it harder for me and...”

“For you and Red?” She asks with clear disgust in her voice

I stood up, the chair was pushed back roughly as I did that.

“Fix this,” I said as I stormed out of her office

Welp! That was intense, I have never seen Owen this angry and is Hugo really poison to his life???

Remember I said that these characters write themselves well trust me cause that sure is true.
