Chapter 34

Owens POV

I made a mistake in chapter 33 that I fixed. Elijah is Hugo ( I mixed up the names for another story sorry)

“So when do I see him?” I asked the elder guy infront of me.instead of responding he snapped his fingers and a portal showed up, I then saw Hugo laying on a bed.

He didn't look alive and he had sweat covered all over his body. His hair was sticking on his forehead and he had dry ashy lips they even had blood coming from the cracks.His face didn't look light like it used to be, I felt quite regretful of how I didn't appreciate his healthy side.

I tried reaching my hand towards him to push his hair back because it seemed as if it was disturbing him, but my hand was stopped by another in the portal.

“What do you think your doing?” asked the girl to was still holding my hand. She stepped out of the portal and now stood infront of me, the portal behind her closed.

“Pixie I thought that I told you to take care of him for me and not stay in the room for too long,” the old man said

The girl who was Pixie rolled her eyes and let go of my hand, she then wiped her hands with a handkerchief given by the old man

“I thought I told you Alfred not to call me by that name my is Feola and not Pixie for you, only Elijah can call me that” she said to the old guy

“Yes mam I understand. Owen well have to draw your blood from here and I'll deliver it to him, for now you can't see him till he's well” he explained to me

I sat down on the cold dirt and everything came back to me in floods.

Not so long ago I was only stressing about my brother's and worrying about my school work but now here I am getting worried about some hybrid.

I thought that summoning him would fix my problems but it seems as if it caused them, and they only chance I had was to help him because I was the one who seeked out for him.

“Fine” I responded

“Your just going to do it so easy? do you even know the cost of what your doing?” she sounded angry

Alfred held Pixie\Feolas hand back and Shaked his head “Dont” that's what he said to her.

Alfred released a tall tube glass from his suit pocket and approached me.

He kneeled on my side and draw blood from my neck to the tube without using any needles... it was magic. I felt defeated after he was done, they both left through the same portal and it closed

“Hey why the heck are you sitting on the dirt? Are you also trying to connect to the mother nature?” my mother asked as she came to stand besides me.

“Mom?” I called to her before she turned back to go back inside

“Yeah?” she sounded shocked that I even called out to her

I drew my knees to my chest and layed my head on them and faced my mother. She had on her work uniform and her face looked tired, she had looked like that since the day I came back from the hospital From the twins accident

Her eyes didn't have the glow they once had. They looked like dirt than the gold they used to be.

I sighed “Why was I born and do you think I deserve to live?” I asked her

She gasped “What! why would you ask something like that sunshine?”

I felt the tears finally fall from my eyes as the word she called me broad about the old memories. How it used to be before the twins

“I called onto someone this person or should I say thing didn't want anything to do with me but I got selfish and still seeked out to it. And now it's dying and I'm just useless and can't help” I said. I hated referring to Hugo as a thing but I didn't have any way to call him

“Oh dear I'm so sorry to hear that,,” she tried touching me but I flinched back

She draw her hand back to her self and got inside the house without saying anything

Since then I have not got any chance to talk with her about her actions because Alfred always came back to draw the blood each and every day and that left me tired and dizzy. He did mention to me that Elijah who is Hugo was healing a lot faster than what he had expected.

I was now sitting in an unknown restaurant waiting for Alfred as he had said that today I was finally going to see Hugo.

My body felt heavy as I leaned back on the sit. I haven't been feeling like myself after giving my blood to them, I guessed this was one of those side effects they didn't talk about.

And what shocked me the most was how strong I had became not long ago I flipped my bed mistakenly because I wanted something under it, and let me just say I know how heavy my bed is and that shocked me.

“Lets go” Alfred said

I jumped out of my seat as I didn't see him walk to me and he didn't even make a sound.

“Dont scare me like that” I grumbled to him

He clicked his tongue “I didn't say you should get lost in your thoughts”

We both walked to his car.

The speed that were going at was something else, I was shocked that no Police had stopped us yet.

“We have arrived” he said as he stepped out of the car and took long strides towards the house
