I blinked my eyes open as the harsh morning sun almost blinded me, I groaned and turned my back from the hotel window and frowned when I saw that the space beside me is empty, I sighed as I slowly sat down on the bed, rubbing my eyes before I released a loud yawn, blinking my eyes again, I combed my fingers through my thick brown hair before reaching for my phone to check what time it actually was for my boyfriend to be out of bed.

I frowned when I saw that it was already nine in the morning, I checked my messages and replied to some of it before turning towards the four messages that I have reserved to be replied last.

Will be at San Jose by 11. Called the same hotel and reserved a few rooms, you wouldn't be alone for this.

I just smiled at that, my best friends would always drop things if I needed them, their plans were always pushed back when I call. I know that it may not be conventional, but I am grateful for those men that I called my best friends. I sighed before I opened the next one.
