"Dude...this is weird right?" Olivia Rodrigo x You

This is what i've been wanting for a while

Y/n's POV

I woke up to Olivia still on my chest. Little soft snores coming out every now and then. I then took my book from under my pillow and got a pencil and wrote down some things that came to mind...

Before you go home, I should let you know...
I'm so glad that you came, I know that we went late...

I had put my book away and cuddled into her and she adjusted herself and hugged me. "Good morning" she said "good morning liv" she smiled and held my hand. I kissed her forehead and she kissed my cheek. I felt small butterflies erupt in my stomach.

"Y/n I wanted to tell you something" she said and I looked at her smiling. "Yes?" She smiled and continued "I really li-" she was cut off by Sabrina opening the door "Hey loser...Losers? I don't know. But get dressed. We're gonna go see a softball game for Chantel" I smiled at the thought of my niece smiling while playing

I nodded my head and got dressed "Wanna borrow some of my clothes?" She nodded her head and I pointed to my closet "go crazy" she smiled and ran to the closet going through everything. "Hey what were you gonna tell me?" She shook her head "I'll tell you at the game" I nod my head and start straightening my hair

Once we were both finished we headed downstairs. "Hey guys" they look up and say hi. Sabrina slid two bowls of cereal towards us. "Enjoy" we dig in immediately. They leave us two alone in the kitchen and me and her have a comfortable silence.

Then I look at her and she notices some milk dripping from the side of my mouth and so she grabs a napkin and wipes it away. At this point we were inches away. I just wanted to kiss her at this point. But I resisted and gave her a smile. She smiled and continued eating.

We finished our food and met up with the others. "I'll drive Olivia and you guys can drive together. We'll meet you there. We're gonna get Chantel a small gift" they nodded their heads and left to Lex's car.

I opened the door for Olivia and she blushed while thanking me. We then drove to Dicks Sporting Goods for a new softball bat that she could use. Olivia held my hand on the way to the store and I smiled and gave her hand a small kiss. I looked for a second and she was blushing

Once we got there I ran to open her door and she smiled and thanked me. "So what are we going for Y/n?" Olivia asked me. We were walking down the isle and I was looking at some choices I had. "Hmmm...something durable" I said and saw there was a new Easton bat. White as the clearest sky type white.

"We're taking this one" I said and took it to the front. "Y/n this bat is almost $500" she said in shock. "Ok and? My cousin deserves nothing but the best" I take it to the front and pay for it. Once we're driving to the stadium she was playing at and immediately there was people wanting photos

Once we were done Olivia sat next to me on the bleachers and I made sure we got a good view of the field. "oh! We're batting first!" I said and then we heard a voice "Y/n you son of a gun. How ya been?" It was Coach Johnson. He was my coach before he was my cousins. "Nice actually. Hows the team been?" I asked him and he laughed

"Amazing! We're always improving. Hey why don't you and your girlfriend come over into the dugout and get a better view? There's helmets in case you're afraid" I looked at Olivia and she nodded he head and excitedly ran to the back of the dugout. I got the bat and ran after her

Once we met up, coach opened the door and let us in. We just heard screams from the girls and my cousin came and hugged me "Hey y/n/n" she said "Oh! Olivia this is Chantel my cousin. Chantel this is Olivia" they said hi and Chantel looked at me "are y'all dating?" We laughed and shook our heads

"Nope. Not yet though" she said and my eyes widened and she winked at me with a small smirk. She then grabbed the box from me and handed it to her and she was smiling already, knowing what it was

"this is from me and Olivia. She actually helped pick it out and thought this one would be nice" Olivia  looked at me confused but I winked at her and she went along with it

"THIS IS SO AMAZING! AHH. Y/n I don't care what you say, your girlfriend is the best" Olivia blushes and I smile a bit and hold Olivia's hand. "Coach! Look what she got me!!" Johnson looks and he smiled and high fives me "thank god. We were low on one bat. But great choice" I pointed to Olivia

"She's never played but she knew what bat to get her" he then pats her back "nice choice kid" she laughed and we stand at the front and got ready to watch the game.

"I don't get any of this, I'm sorry" she said while laughing "it'll make sense when you watch it, don't worry. You'll also hear him yell at the players so you're fine" she smiled and laid her head on my shoulder.

"Y/n can we maybe go somewhere after this? I think I'm ready to tell you what I've been wanting to tell you" I nod my head and kiss her head. I held her hand and just watched the game with her.

The rest of the day was a breeze. She was so into the game that she even got more mad than the coaches. One thought kept going through my mind...

I wonder what she's gonna tell me.
