Y/n's POV

The blinding light warps my vision, it feels like daggers penetrating my eyes and claws ripping everything in my head. I feel tears streaming down my cheeks and into my sweat-drenched hair.

I strain my ears, listening to what she recites and desperately trying to memorise each word. The metal cuffs around my skin are cold, digging into the flesh like how it did the day before. My heartbeat pounds in my ears, blood rushing to my head and blocking out the words I was trying so hard to hear.

I catch a glimpse of the white masker flicking a page.

It is question time.

I panic and try to break free from the cuffs.

A bucket of freezing water is dumped on my head. I sputter and cough, only to receive another mouthful of the icy liquid. I struggle to breathe, the water flooding into my lungs.

I don't want to do this.

Stop.

I hear the sound of the white masker talking, but the words become a haze in my ears. The voice stops and her head slowly travels down to look at me, waiting for an answer I can't give. A whimper escapes my mouth.

"I-I don't kno-"

The tip of a knife stabs into my hip, warm liquid oozes down my side and stains the white gown. I scream and thrash as much as the cuffs allow, still unable to escape the pain. She twists the blade in deeper, enough for me to hear the squelching of my flesh and the dripping of my blood.

"Please, stop! I'm sorry!" She takes the knife out and reads out the next question. I whimper and shake, knowing that I couldn't give an answer. My tears flow uncontrollably onto the metal bench and I thrash, trying to avoid the hand that inches towards my face.

I scream.

My eyes fly open and my body instantly jerks upright.

Something is on my face.

My breathing becomes shallow and I frantically try to pull off the suffocating object.

I can't breathe.

I can't breathe.

I can't breathe.

I hear voices by my side but my eyes fail to register what the source is. Something grabs my shoulder and I flinch, my hands instinctively rush to protect my head, expecting a hit or a push.
