A/N: No intro today...

just enjoy :)

Keita looks from me to Law, and blinks.

"Well, it's a special day right? You know, your birthday. It's when all the big plans are put into action." I feel my jaw drop, there was too much information in that sentence for me to wrap my head around.

The date at the bottom of the document, it must have been my birthday. My parents moved off the records on that same day.

"I joined the navy on your birthday hoping to find you again. And mum and dad joined the revolutionary army that same day, though I didn't find out until that same day a year later, when their names made the headline of the newspaper."

He ruffled my head, his charming grin bright on his face. "The best thing is, that each year we have been getting closer and closer to finding you, and to finding all the other people in your shoes. And this year, we get to celebrate your birthday together!"

I gasp,

"We? You know where they are?" Impossibly, the grin on his face widens.

"'Course I do! And you will soon enough, it's a surprise." I feel a tear roll down my cheek as I throw myself into his arms, a warmth rushing through my body, the feeling of home.

Later: Law's POV

"You and your brother are so different yet so similar." The statement came out of the blue, I just blurted it out without a second thought. Well, it had been on my mind for a while, ever since we departed with Keita.

"Well of course we are! We're siblings!"

The two sibling's differences are evident, in the way they talk, their features, and their personalities.

But despite that, they have the same aura; a warm, welcoming, caring, happy bubble that surrounds them. Their smiles are mirror images, their laughter the same melody; it makes me wonder how y/n would be if she was brought up properly, and it pains me.

It's a miracle that she is able to smile as she does now, it's a miracle that she can laugh, in fact, she's a miracle in herself.

"Law?" I nearly flinch at the sound of her voice, I was too deep in my own thoughts.

"Yeah?" We stop at the edge of the orchid, a gentle breeze caressing the leaves and our hair.

"I'm so glad that I met you."

On the ship: Y/n POV

Keita didn't give us the full details of what to do and why he was on the island, but he's my brother, so I trust his words.

One thing that he repeated was to keep an open mind, to expect the unexpected and to not tunnel in on one idea.

He told us to not worry about the transportation of the people and that he had arranged a mode of transport for them.

He also said that the entire building we're infiltrating will be undergoing electrical maintenance and that the systems will interfere with the camera footage of the Den Den Mushi.

Keita said that he managed to subtly suggest the idea of the maintenance on that day.

However, due to the maintenance, the external security will be tighter. But since there have not been any incidents such as my escape or any infiltrations, Keita thinks that they will only be posting the lesser ranked navy to the task guarding.

He heard that the higher ups will be meeting up at another island, which gives us more time to work with even after the alarm has been raised.

He gave us a map of the building, little red dots representing the guards all over the page as well as green dots representing the people in each room that we have to rescue.
