Tryouts For Football (Edited)

(Near The End Of August)

(Eric's POV)
I heard my alarm go off. I smack it. Yes I have an alarm on my phone but theres no way I'm gonna smack my phone. So I keep the alarm clock that my parents got me 8 years ago.

Today is the first day of football tryouts. I know that because Arthur and Alex haven't shut up about it. But at the same time I'm glad they reminded me. Cause since it's my last year I wanna do it. I mean I have been playing football since i was little and at my old high school I played for the school team. But since this is my last year playing, and I'm at a new school this year. It will be like starting over again. So now I have to show my talents to the coaches and hope to god that they will pick me. I know I'll have some competition.

I go downstairs and see Arthur and Alex are ready. I nod at them. I go in my car and drove out on to the street to let Alex's car out of the driveway since I have no idea where I'm going. So once he pulled out of the driveway I followed him in my car to the high school

Once we got to the high school. Alex parks his car and I parked mine. We walked out to the field.

After 5 hours doing exercise to warm us up and then the actually did a little pickup game. That took about an hour and a half of the 5hours. Once the game was done, the coaches let us go home for the day. Before leaving the head coach said that by tomorrow morning the list will be up online. After getting into my car I texted Carley what happened but in shorter words. I also told her my concerns about whether or not I made the team.

I drove to Ellie's house since that's where Carley lives now. I parked my car and knocked on the door. I may have stopped for coffee. I didn't mention that did I? Well I did and got Ellie a coffee too because I couldn't get Carley something and not Ellie. I mean Carley is my girlfriend but Ellie's  my cousin's girlfriend again.

I ring the doorbell and Ellie opened it looking mad. Then saw the coffee and smiled

"Hi Eric" She said nicely

"Hi Ellie. I didn't know what to get you, so I just got the same thing I always get for Carley for you" I said giving her the coffee

"Thank you for just thinking of getting me a coffee, Eric. That was very sweet. Carley is still sleeping so be careful" She said letting me in

I walked in and took my shoes off because I know that Carley hated me with my shoes on in the house.

I walked up to Carley's room. I walked in because Ellie said she's still sleeping. I set the two coffees on the computer table. I walked over to Carley and slowly got in with her

"Hey! I have a bat!" She yelled sitting up. But then saw me

"Please don't hit me with the bat? I brought coffee" I said nicely

"You scared me Eric!" she said smacking me. But she looked over to her computer table and saw the coffee I got her. "But thank you for the coffee. That was very sweet of you" She said then kissed my cheek

I only allowed it since i knew she didn't brush her teeth yet.

"I will be right back" She said and went to the bathroom.

I go over to the two coffees and made sure I gave Ellie the right one and not mine cause I like mine a specific way. When I saw that my coffee was still in the cup carrier I smile.

I took it off and put the straw in my cup. I started to drink it. It tasted so good.

Carley came back and leaned over me to grab her coffee. I may have seen some boob but its alright. I try not to get excited but I lose all control after Carley sits in my lap
