(Eric's POV)
I woke up this morning with Carley in my arms. I smiled and kissed her head. Yesterday was a great day. I mean we all graduated together. I mean I did come to this school late but I don't regret it. Because I met incredible people. And today is the last day we are all gonna be together before we go to college. Well they go to college and I start working full time.
At 12 in the afternoon everyone came to the house since it's easier for people to come here. We had the pool open for some of their little siblings and stuff. While the rest of us all sat and talked
"So Eric what are your plans?" Josh asked me with Lauren in his arms
"I am gonna work. I think I told you that already" I said
"Right, right" He said nodding
"How about you two?" I asked them while sipping my soda
"College" They said
"The same or different?" I asked them
"Different" Josh said
"Yeah I'm going to community college while he's going to an university" Lauren said
"Are you guys gonna still be together?" I asked
"We are gonna try" Josh said looking at Lauren.
"Yeah we are" She said nodding
"How about you and Carley?" Josh asked me
"I don't know. I really don't" I said looking at Carley with Ellie.
(Carley's POV)
"Ellie I don't know what to do" I said
"About?" She asked
"Eric and I" I said
"You still didn't talk?" She asked
"We have tried but it's hard" I said
"I know it's a hard conversation. But you should have already had talked about this" She said
"I know. I know.. But I can't do it right now" I said
"Yeah definitely not. Because right now is a party" She said
"Yeah, a party with little kids" I said with a laugh seeing Mikey and Tessa playing with some of our friends brothers and sisters.
"Mikey and Tessa have no care in the world" She said looking at them
"Yeah I envy that" I said
"Same. I mean I wish we were that young again but at the same time it's not what it seems to be" She said
"Exactly. I mean we are adults now. We have to deal with adult stuff" I said softly
"Like wondering if you're gonna be with Eric" She said
"Yeah" I said nodding
"Well he's looking over here. So I would give him a smile" She said waving at Eric
I turn and see him looking. I smile and wave at him. He smiles and waves back
"I think I'm gonna do it now" I said to her
"Really why now?" She asked
"I have to talk about the what is going to happen. It's eating me up not knowing what we are gonna do" I said
"Ok well good luck" She said giving me a hug
I go over to Eric and say excuse me to the person.
They walked away.
