(Eric's POV)
I heard my alarm going off. I looked and saw it was 8:30 in the morning. I wanted to wake EJ up with breakfast for his birthday. Noah is 53 days old. So almost 2 months old. But today is all about EJ. My first born is 5 years old. It's crazy.
Since EJ is a October baby he can't go into kindergarten until next September. But that just means more time with me and Carley. Also with his siblings.
Today is also Halloween. EJ got his costume for tonight. He is very excited about it. We got him a red power ranger costume. He said he wanted to be like me. Since I always told him that I was a red power ranger for a couple years. Until I grew up
I went downstairs to the kitchen and started to make EJs favorite food. Which are chocolate chip pancakes with bacon and hash browns.
We usually do make that anyways but today it's especially special. I already planned to make the pancakes into monsters. Like for little kids not too scary.
Once I was done making the food. I go up to EJs room and opened the door. I see he was pretending to sleep. Do you wanna know how I know that? Well his feet were showing out of the covers. Which means he got up and quickly went into the bed when he heard me coming.
I laugh silently in my bed and go over to EJ.
"Hey buddy" I said rubbing his back since he's laying on his stomach
He turns around. "Hi daddy" He said with a smile
"Happy birthday bud" I said giving him a hug
"Thank you daddy" He said hugging me back
"Now we are gonna do your presents at lunch. Like we did last year ok?" I asked him
"Yeah" He said nodding
""Why don't you go wait downstairs while I go wake your mommy up. Ok?" I asked him. He nodded. "Wish me luck on waking your mommy up" I said joking
"Good luck daddy" He said giving me a hug. Then he ran downstairs to his breakfast
I go up to our room and saw my wife spreaded out on the bed. I took a picture of her. Because she's adorable how could you not? After taking the picture I put my phone away and go over to her.
"Car" I said softly
"Hmm" She asked
"Its EJ's birthday today" I said to her
"That's nice" She said yawning. I give her a second to realized what I said. Then she jumped up. "EJ's five today!" She said
"Yeah he is. And he's downstairs waiting for you" I said
"I gotta get up and get ready then" She said stretching
"Yep. i'll go get Emma and Skylar. Let Noah sleep a little bit" I said
"Ok" She said nodding
After getting Emma and Skylar downstairs I put them into their seats. I started to make them food.
"Daddy is there anymore?" EJ asked holding his plate
"For you birthday boy? Of course" I said smiling at him
I gave him another pancake and bacon. There wasn't too many hash browns. I know Carley likes it.
"Daddy more hash browns too!" He said with a smile
"EJ buddy those are for your mommy. You know mommy is going to be upset if she doesn't get hash browns" I said to him
"Yeah" He said looking down
