(Eric's POV)
Well it's been 4 days since my cousins and Is girlfriends have been over. Carley and Ellie stayed at our house for a couple days but Ellie's mom wanted them back yesterday. Apparently Carley's mom is gonna have dinner with Ellie's family and Carley. Which I think is great. Because i know Carley misses her mom.
I am currently playing xbox in the gaming room with Alex. Arthur went over to Ellie's to drop off coffee. I would have gone with but Arthur didn't wake me up.
"So coz" Alex said while vsing me in the NBA game
"Yeah A?" I asked him playing still
"You and Carley are pretty serious huh" He said but sounded like an ask
"Yeah I would say so. She's definitely better than my ex" I said...."I mean Ava" I said finishing
"You said her name" Alex said gasping
I chuckle. "I did. I mean it's in the past. And I mean if we never ended up breaking up in the first place then I would have never been with Carley. So yeah I would thank Ava if I could" I said
"Well it so happens I have her number right here" He said pausing the game and got his phone.
"A: Why do you still have her number? And B: Isn't Gabby gonna be mad you have a number of another girl?" I asked him
"Well first answer to the first question is that i knew this day would come. So I saved it because I wanted you to get to the point you could thank her for ruining your life but also by making it better at the same time" He said
"And the answer to question 2?" I asked him taking the phone
"Gabby trusts me" He said
I nod then looked at the number on the phone
"I don't know Alex" I said to him
"Just text her. If you can't call" He said
I nod but then man up and call her. I wait for her to answer.
"Hello Alex. Haven't talked to you in forever. Is Eric ok?" She asked on the phone
I chuckle. "Hi Ava....It's actually Eric" I said
"Oh.....Hi. Why are you calling on your cousins phone?" She asked
"I blocked your number. And deleted your contact information" I said
She laughs. "Thanks for being honest. So what can I do for you Eric?" She asked
"Since its thanksgiving....I wanted to say thanks" I said to her
"For?" She asked
"For cheating on me" I said
"Um......your welcome? Wait why are you thanking me?" She asked confused
"Since moving in with my cousins. I met someone" I said
"That's great Eric....Are you happy?" She asked me
"Yeah.....I really am" I said
"Good. That's all i wanted for you. And you are welcome for real by the way" She said
"Have a nice thanksgiving Ava" I said
"You too Eric. Goodbye" She said
"Goodbye" I said then hung up the phone. I gave Alex back his phone
"See wasn't hard was it?" He asked me
"No it wasn't. Thank you Alex" I said giving my cousin a hug
