(Eric's POV)
I woke up this morning thanks to my alarm going off. I looked at the time and saw it was 9:30 a.m. I hit snooze because it's my christmas break, I can sleep in if I want to. I did end up falling back to sleep but only for 8 minutes because the alarm was going off again. I turn the alarm off this time for good today. I needed to wake up.
I went to my bathroom. I took a quick shower. It usually takes me 15 minutes to do a shower but today I got done in 10 minutes. So I had 5 minutes to spare. But I took the advantage and shaved my little beard I had going on, on my chin. It didn't take too long. About 5 minutes. So instead of taking 15 minutes in the shower I just split the difference.
After shaving and having the shower I went to my drawers and changed into clothes. After getting the clothes on I walked all the way downstairs and see Arthur and Alex eating breakfast
"Morning guys" I said going over to the coffee machine. I get a coffee cup and poured the coffee into the cup. After doing that I added some cream and sugar.
"Morning" They said
"How did you two sleep?" I asked my cousins
"Alright. How about you E?" Arthur asked me
"Pretty good.....Pretty good" I said nodding as I drank my coffee
"Let me guess you dreamed of Carley?" He asked with a laugh
"Let me guess your dream then" I said setting my cup down. "You dreamed about Ellie" I said to him
"I always dream about Ellie" He said with a smile
"Well then we both have the same mind set except I dream about Carley and you dream about your girl" I said
I go over to the fridge and get some eggs out. I saw there was shredded cheese. The four cheese kind. So I took that out because i wanted to make cheesy eggs. Whenever I make those kinds they always end up good.
After making the eggs and adding the cheese into the eggs. I put the eggs onto a plate and set my plate on the kitchen table.
"Hey E. Are you excited for New Years?" Alex asked me
"I mean it's probably not gonna be different from last year. I mean the only difference is my mom finally left my father" I said picking up my coffee again and drinking it slowly. It's still a little hot. I don't want to burn my mouth.
I feel my phone vibrate. So I took out my phone and saw Carley calling. I smile and answered the phone.
"Hello Carley" I said smiling into the phone.
"Hi E. So what should I wear tonight?" She asked me on the phone
"Why does it matter what you wear?" I asked confused
"Because this is our first New Years together! I want to dress nicely for it" She said and I could feel her pouting from my end
"Hey don't pout. A pretty girl like you should never pout" I said to her
Then I knew she was smiling because she didn't say anything. Usually when I make Carley speechless she just smiles or blushes. So I know I just did it there. Just because she's not saying anything
"Are you still there Car?" I asked joking
"Yes jerk I am. And how dare you make me blush without even knowing what I look like right now" She said in a mad voice
"Oh come on Car I'm sure you look amazing like always. And two don't give me a mad voice. You aren't cute when you do that" I said with a laugh
"I thought I was always cute?" She asked again I can feel her pouting thru the phone
